Last week Bitcoin's price was 6,000 BRL. Today we had 10,000 BRL transactions at some exchanges. Source: bitvalor.com

1920$ at preev & I wouldn't call this a "natural growth" I mean c'mon we've been around long enough to see what organic really means (a couple of bucks maybe 10$ per day) but that's something else. Some have been around long enough to know that applying linear rules isn't very wise.

Regarding TX fees, is it really such a huge problem? It's barely used as a currency as of now.
There are scaling solutions obviously so in the future, it's not a worry.
People see Bitcoin more as a store of value, for them higher fee's is not a major problem. Of course that needs to be fixed for lower tx.

This is just normal growth, hardly a "bubble". Look at the long-term log chart.

$2000 is an interesting number in human psychology and pricing theory because of Benford's Law. Humans have a tendency to 'box' numbers in a base-10 logarithmic way. Any random sample of human-generated statistics generally adhere to Benford's Law ... so typically once out of the "ones" things tend to rise much quicker. Think of it like "1 thousand" seems like a big difference from "five hundred" but one thousand to two thousand, not so much ... yet both are doublings. Then once you're into the two thousands it's just a hop skip and a jump to 3, 4 and 5 thousands ... until 10,000 that seems like a long way away. It tends to be most accurate when values are distributed across multiple orders of magnitude. I think this applies to bitcoin pricing, scale invariance.

Totally right. $1000 was a harder barrier to cross. 2, 3, 4.... are just more thousands. You have just to see the orders book to notice there is not much resistance at $2000. In fact we had much more resistance at $1800.

1900? HOLY FUCKING CRAP!
Ah yes, this is a nice feeling. When and where is the party?
Oh yeah, almost forgot.... when is the $1000 party? Three and a half years ago. Yawn.

we have the meme technology Is Brazil currency especially weak recently, not sure why'd it move that much otherwise. trying to ascribe some kinds of micropayment expectations to bitcoin and to suggest that bitcoin is broken if it cannot achieve these kinds of use cases in an expedited way and to compete with credit card companies, etc. Thats a major chunk of business that must go elsewhere then, it would be good if bitcoin had a fixed relation to whichever standard its ceding control of 'cent' type traffic. Otherwise seems slightly chaotic a transition and apparently unintentional and uncontrolled. Break of that very recent downtrend and confirmation above 1780. So long as it keeps that gain it can get over the imaginary wall of 2000. Indicator and volume looks fine I guess. I did have a chart for CNY trend on Huboi prices for wisdom but its been delisted from that site, not sure why. [I found a link via google, I'll check back later - https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/huobi/btccny - oh dam actually the price flat so forget that :O]

Are the days of Bitcoin doubling in price in a few hours or days a thing of the past. Are we destined for 6% gains a pop now that the market cap is so large....?
Would love to see a 50% price hop... can you imagine the frenzy, dear God.

Ibian tries to distill every argument down into a black and white, yes or no result so that he can claim victory.
Ok here's one for ya Ibian.
Why do you want the price to increase? So that you can be rich one day?
Yes or no? Just answer the question with 'yes' or 'no'.
He seems likely to be paid by someone to try and create 'plausible' propaganda. Spreading misinformation are we eh?? ... But from the way he talks I think Ibian is a kid... or has the mind of one!
