Never fails. New articles up on CNBC, CNN, BusinessInsider, and Fortune today. Then a dump.
Every time media prints something about Bitcoin, it dumps soon after.
I don't know if I'd exactly call that a dump. It's just back to where it was earlier today. I see it more as just part of today's daily healthy correction. We're having this sort of correction nearly every day. It seems unlikely that the corrections will actually amount to anything after a few weeks. Either this is serious growth or it's the very beginning of the next Bitcoin bubble, which will peak at several thousands. In either case, no one should be worried at these levels. That's just Torque. He is used to explain everything with evil media that controls everything. The media is in fact evil, after at least one definition. And they do control what they choose to let people see. OK, so that 100$ dump that we just saw is CNN's work. Got it.

Everytime we see a dump it's the evil media. I understand now. Silly me, thought it's normal after such a bullrun.

The dumps we have nowadays are great. No drama, just healthy corrections. I can live with those.

So seriously, what did the PBOC know this year is going to happen that everyone else didn't?
Clearly their moves were in anticipation of some event coming. And it wasn't just to stave off some speculation hype.
Dont be so ridiculous.. no one knows the future.. until it becomes the past. Dead wrong. Insiders always know months/years before the general public. Always. I will grant you that insiders know things that outsiders do not know, but they still do not know specifics and they still do not know how things are going to play out, even if they know some planned insider moves. So you give them way too much credit and you attempt to frame too much conspiracy.. and why don't you throw in a little numerology for fun, too?

Governments or what opposing factions are there somewhere... It feels like they have stopped throwing money at the screen! (Maybe its time.... that time of the decade or century when they doing crashes all over the place and just don't care anymore at this point... )

The wounds inflicted by the block-size/scaling debate might take some time to heal. It's like a civil war. Before the war, everyone's on the same side. Afterward, there's lingering resentment. A century and a half later, "Yankee" is still a dirty word the the American deep south. Pity. I liked it when we Bitcoiners were united against a common enemy, the banksters. To be honest, I'm not that fussed about the debate. I think I'm right, people with differing opinions thing they're right, there are a few questionable things going on. It will get sorted in time. But with regard to this forum, I just can't sanction what Theymos and his crew is getting up to with suppressing legitimate and honest discussion. Both here and on Reddit. I'm thinking about finding a way to get CB back in the spotlight though so hold tight. Anyone else is, of course, free to reimplement CB on their own.

What's wrong with this fuck BitStamp They do it on purpose. What they do... The one time an obvious buyable dip happens and they go offline. If they refuse to come out in support of BIP 148 I'll be even happier to ditch them.
