The jul 17 dump from 2700 to 1840 was a panic dump. Long term sharks did not dump then. So prepare for it. Its my only opinion so getting in now its not a good idea.
I kind of agree with the hard bottom being around 2k, however, panic has to set in one way or another before we test it again. July 17 was driven by (irrational, but that's not the point in a speculative market) hardfork fears, but by the time the fear mongers manage to do this again, the bottom might just has well have moved towards 3k, 4k or whatever

If the post-correction price stays above $4k, let's all celebrate this by buying tulip bulbs for next spring... with fiat of course That's one way of showing the "Bitcoin = tulip bubble" guy. Well remember that its a trend price. For me btc Real price is around 1200-1600 not more or less. So soon we will see a dump so big that gox dump was pice of cake.
There are three possible reasons for which the price "for you" is that low: 1) You are stupid/trolling. 2) -ll- paid to write nonsense. 3) You have sold at the bottom and now you're spreading FUD like professor Bitkorn. If US-NK goes for the worst probably there will be no Internet for some long time, why would people buy BTC to prepare for such situation?
The internet will remain functional. ... Bcc= decentralised bitcoin btc= segwit 3rd party centralised coin This is wrong and must change...only we can change fix this.
Paid idiot. BCH = altcoin, regardless of price, hashrate, adoption, whatever. Anyone who thinks that Segwit is bad, aside from being paid by Ver and Jihan to *think* that, is highly ignorant if not outright mildly mentally retarded.

Anyone guessing this recent rise might be partly due to the US - N. Korea tension? Peeps panicking that there are going to be Nukes flying around and want to secure their funds. Hmmmm That Seasteading concept seems to be making a little more sense now.
South Korean BTC's trading $1000 above rest of the world was end of may. I suspect N. Korean BTC volume is minimal, unless the government started trading in BTC.

What a stupid thing to tweet. Adam has been posting garbage like this too recently. Posting argumentative or provocative stuff on Twitter makes you look stupid and undermines your technical credibility. Start acting professional guys - this is the big time now.

Yea the real Bitcoin, BCC, not segwit coin BCH might come on top in the end for some reason, but that wouldn't be the real bitcoin anyway. It would just mean an altcoin has surpassed bitcoin. Many altcoins have tried.

You've to sell your ETHf to make something of it. Why don't you go and troll BCH forums? After all BCH and ETHf are direct competitors in the altcoin space. They even have one and the same price... lol

Has anyone else experienced buy or sell orders placed on Bitstamp that you didn't place? I've had it twice now for sure and I'm positive I didn't place them unless I'm misunderstanding how it works. The most recent one I bought using the buy button on the tradeview with "add if order". Then I checked my account and it indeed did buy in 4 transactions. I then wanted to close another open order and noticed there were 4 separate sell orders placed 80$ above where I had just bought for the same amounts that I'm sure I didn't place even by accident. What gives?
I'm using Stamp since 2013 and I never experienced such a thing. My immediate thoughts: - Check for API keys on your account and revoke every one of them, if any,
- Open a support ticket with references to the orders you didn't place
Yes, there was an API key that I never created. Concerning Why would I have an API key? Do all accounts come with one or do they need to be created? Permissions were set for full control.
