And now after filling its treasury in gold, making trade deals in alt. currencies, is going to mine bitcoins (!). Some (sh*t)heads are going to explode. I would, however, advise against your strategy of trying to outlast the USA and thus avoid capital gains. Rumors of its impending demise are greatly exaggerated and odds are you will regret this decision sometime down the road.

Edit: Correction looking back I see that you only predicted civil war in the USA and it was someone else who said their investment strategy was to outlast the USA.
