Why is there a 1.6k wall on bitstamp?

Or someone at Nasdaq Stockholm (Bitcoin ETF) ... don't want to miss the next PUMP.

I've been trolling my customers for bitcoin conversation since June to get a feel for how everyday people see the crypto space.

Average Joe is now occasionally checking bitcoin price! They may have not invested or learned much about BTC but it's on their radar!
In May/June most average Joe's heard about Bitcoin for the first time, In July they heard a little more, August brought more awareness again and a few questions along with some speculative support. September brought out more opinions and naysayers while the price declined into correction. October is looking like FOMO month.
I think we are now on the horizon of acceptance of BTC as a "real" and "normal" thing by average folks while many new entrants are now learning much more about bitcoin and how it could help shape our world financial sectors.
Its coming faster than most had expected! Smoke that in yer pipe!

Makes you wonder if bitcoin is 'anti-bubble': if in the bubble we get to the 'mania' phase where general population wants to have savings on bitcoin, I guess that is really when the fun is starting.
Instead of going down because the investment is useless as it would happen in a normal bubble, when we get to the 'mania' phase is actually when bitcoin is worth something...

Just my Thursday brainstorming

https://cointelegraph.com/news/f2pool-deals-possible-death-blow-to-segwit2x-fork-withdraws-support

Finally, f2pool stopped signalling as promissed a long time ago. Now 2x altcoin have 85% signalling. This has to remove the fear of not having enough hashpower for the legacy chain. IMO way less will be the real hashpower for 2x, I just don't believe regular miners will mine on loss for a long time.

A splendid, glorious good morning ladies and gentlemen of Bitcoinland.

I see we not only maintained last night's impressive gains, we even reached another ATH... currently $5260USD/$6563CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Not only that but AltCash is also up... currently $323USD/$403CAD (Coinmarketcap).

We all know a real correction will be coming soon but let's see if we can run a little higher first.

Hopefully $5k will hold as the new bottom. Anything under $4.8k and I'll be rushing out to buy more.

Go Bitcoin go.
_____

Also many thanx to Micgoossens for his generosity with his ATH guessing game. That's over five grand USD he's given away. Hopefully he still has hundreds and hundreds of bitcoins.

Cheers to all.

alts have had two or more years of absolute craziness almost without a breather. i don't see how any of them can justify any of their valuations. they've done absolutely nothing yet some have theoretical values in the billions.

there's a long ass way for them to fall before enough other people will be convinced they're worth a go.
