This time is different? Cheesy
This time I get even more wealthy than last time. Cheesy

are you expecting a massive drop?
In a few weeks/months. Relax, we haven't even hit alltime highs just yet.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

One government screw-up and we're set to explode.

Not exactly government but how will this affect Bitcoin?

Probably should be its own thread if one doesn't exist...

I suspect it will be a non-issue. Possibly I am just engaging in wishful thinking though.

Unfortunately, the government regulates things sufficiently that if ISPs start pulling some of the dodgier crap, it's hard for competitors to join the market.

thanks for your update.
gave me back some hope that withdrawal could go through within the next hours.
it's ridiculous these delays happen right during the action.
fuck gox
Why why why why why are you still trading with the the most expensive, least responsive exchange?
yea well....lesson learned  Tongue
haven't planned to get any fiat out of there and just kept some coins for gambling purposes.
biggest part of my stash is sitting longterm in cold wallet anyway, but it's still quite annoying not to know where your coins are lying around.

Approaching to all time high. Half year ago I shorted at this price =) But now its the only beginning.

If it is correct to compare price with space ships, I'd compare it with Apollo 13.

Apollo 13 never landed on the moon. Sad

Does everybody realize that public opinion is changing positive towards Bitcoin?

People are starting to realize that bitcoin is the currency of the resistance against the banks, corporations and governments stealing their wealth. Once this idea settles in there's no stopping it.

Step one: The public is starting to form an opinion.  That alone is positive.

In my straw polls, I am coming across an increasing frequency of folks that have at least heard of Bitcoin.

Just look at all the comment sections on news sites when they publish something about Bitcoin. People around me are suddenly interested in Bitcoin too, asking me if i could buy for them. People are starting to learn about this thing.

I'm busy with a research about this, i hope i can back this soon with some serious data for you.
