very positive view from FinCEN guys.

They will regulate the institutions.... Not against bitcoins

Jennifer was very eloquent. I think they are all in for virtual currencies. They just want to prevent criminal use.
That's GREAT NEWS!!!

See, there's one thing I (grudgingly) have to pay respect for to the US: not matter what fascist foreign policy acting out, dysfunctional electorate system based upon, puppet-president led Koch-Brothers' dick sucking political elite led clown show they put up all year, when push comes to shove, they do know when not to miss out on a great business opportunity. Someone's gotta pay for all those burgers and burger-related heart surgery, after all.

what an educated post. you are right !

I love Carper relating Bitcoin to the early internet over and over, hehe.

EDIT: YES JENNIFER! It IS an apt comparison!!

This is the very best angle possible. Highly bullish if this becomes the dominant narrative going forward. Incredibly bullish in fact.

Yes, in a couple years we are all going to look at this moment, as we collectively sat staring at our screens, typing away on Bitcointalk as a defining moment. The next chapter begins!

I (and I'm sure lots of you!) have been trying to tell my friends and family this exact same thing for months!!!

Holy Shit, though, if you're right and that becomes a popular opinion, we are in for some strong upward turbulence.

I certainly hope it works out that way. The "financial Internet" is a term that may catch on, more so when things like colored coins and maybe mastercoin come on line.
