The fact that it didn't capitulate there means we could be in for sky high figures this week now. That was a test. The market stood up to it.

yup with all the good news recently. This is a great manipulation to shake off weak hands.

More exciting stuff coming to BTC.

Bots, market order, stop losses....at this point I don't know how people can trust computers to make their bitcoin trades. Just set a price and adjust as need be.

Raises hand! Smiley

Algorithmic trading is a bit early with all the diverse exchange markets.

Very disappointed with BTCChina...unable to cope with the trafic, constant lag and gateway errors.. Undecided

Reminds me of Gox once upon a time

Absolutely, but I have Karpeles enough money this year and the fat fucker even charged me for a fuck up with his own bank, I hate gox with a passion.

Looks like we're semi-stable in the $700s (yea, I know its a big range, but this is Bitcoin). By semi-stable, I mean it doesn't look like we're moving $100 a minute any more.

Half the time today when people asked me what Bitcoin was going for I didn't even feel comfortable quoting them a price.

We're not out of the woods yet. When Gox crashed in April it took hours to discover the low.

I think it's done and dusted mate. April was pandemonium. It only took hours because Bitstamp and Gox went AWOL (which of course added to the panic). Stamp didn't even blink through that.

Sure, you could be right, but I'd give it an hour before declaring that was the bottom.

Well since this is the speculation thread, allow me to speculate that that was definitely the bottom Smiley

I'm waiting for the next Chartbuddy. Should be a keeper.

I may have to work out running a chartbuddy for the whole of today.
One of the best hourly charts ever and the image doesn't display.

Any chance of a fix?
