Too many bears convinced themselves sub 400 is coming so have stopped trading? (I'm one of them but tbh I know nothing and even if I went 100% btc it wouldn't make any difference to the market, but if there were 100 of me, well, that would make a difference - I would so love to be a bull again but can't at this level, my gut won't let me do it.)

Or more simply that everyone is enjoying the holidays?

it better to crash & get back trading the right way than dragging dead horse

I'm in on all rallies. But this seems really a pseudo-rally. Like a powerless but bullheaded: "it must value more than 1000$, now!".

Hello, everyone. I see pessimism is in abundance. Good. Still holding fiat from my inadvisable sell between 530 and 580 (when it looked like a local top after ~390), and I don't feel like accepting the loss, which would negate all my previous month's winnings.
So, here's to a nice dip, especially considering the positive effect that would have when declaring BTC fortune value at year's end for the tax man. Smiley

It's bears vs newcomers, of whom there are quite a few lining up now.

in case no one has noticed, someone is trying to sell about 8000 ciins.  i see 200 coin offers every $5 from 740 to 850 on bfx, and similar albeit less obvious offers on stamp.

Everybody's agreed were going down and have placed their bid orders,Hence: good support. Result we ain't going to dip significantly.
Low vol: Everybody's stopped selling expecting a dip, like tempting a Donkey with a Carrot on a fishing rod. And were moving forward and Upward.

All the other exchange's volumes are a joke... but huobi; I don't think so. In any case this should give more accurate TAs (for those who believe in these things...) Grin

i think there's a big chance that houbi is very manipulated market because of 0% fees, btcchinas volume dipped hard after fees were introduced, ofc politics might have big influence too

and my triangles are mostly for fun, easier to wait when there's no action if you have some deadline, yep i know, i should do something more productive like smoking weed... Cheesy

I think every bullish analysis here needs to include some disclaimer like "if the huobi manipulation doesn't fall apart"
