CBOE and CBE futures are cash settled (you get the cash value of a bitcoin credited to your account). Bakkt will be physically settled (you get a bitcoin credited to your account).

I think keeping an eye on Satoshis coins is a bit more important. I believe Satoshi is actually CIA, just waiting to crash the market at the right time.

However, in the long run, it could cause prices to go up even higher. If Satoshi sold his bitcoins, then it would allow more people to join the bitcoin community. It also takes some of the risk out of investing in bitcoin: the world’s biggest bitcoin stakeholder no longer holds bitcoin, and that takes away some risk from the market. After Satoshi’s coins are sold, it means no single party has the power to significantly crash the market.

I still don't exactly understand what BAKKT is about. The difference between SEC ETF and BAKKT ETF is that SEC ETF will use USD as their base currency but BAKKT will be using BTC, and because of that difference, BAKKT will have to buy Bitcoin (instead of USD) to pay their customers, right?

If you need to buy that boatload of coins you don't buy on an open market do you? I mean if they're planning to buy big they won't be using an exchange? I'm not sure if off-exchange deals affect the price? Can anybody shed some light on how those big deals work?

Bassen on the 4hr chart, I give it up to 4 days to find the way up again. So a few days of rest in no mans land, gentlemen.

On the larger time frame, no big selling close to $6,000 but also no big buys with this Ghostly MtGox seller around. Something has gotta give.

Mt Gox coins haven’t moved since May.

And no further sales after tamagotshi (or whatever he was named.. I don't remember) said he wasn't going to sell anything more for now.

Funny this is considered any "news". Fortunately the market doesnt care anymore.

It was kobayashi and I believe he said after the last sale that he had no plans to sell anymore until September.
This is him here coming home after the last sale.

Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has announced some changes in its listing policy.
The new listing process, compliant with local laws, will be faster and will welcome wider range of digital currencies.

That reminds of myself in 2014 and 2015, did just that and then fucked some (many) things up, ended up selling most of it. Now I would live on the streets before I sold my precious coins.

Do exchanges just create fake trades of XRP or are people stupid enough to buy and hold it?

Funny, I remember looking at CMC in January and there were ~1770 total cryptos listed including Bitcoin.

Two weeks ago, there were ~1950.

Today, there are 2003.

Fucking hilarious that shitcoins are being created daily, weekly, monthly, by the hundreds at light speed. At this rate there will be >10K shitcoins listed on CMC in 10 years.

So you can completely ignore the "BTC Dominance" metric, it's totally bogus and worthless when CMC just continues to update and list every fucking shitcoin ever made.  Roll Eyes

The free creation of any shitcoin is the power of cryptocurrencies. No one holds a monopoly.

Embrace it (not shitcoins, but this concept of freedom).

I don't dispute that. I dispute that a crypto is seen as having any monetary or value storage just because someone clicks a button and creates a blockchain.
