Here is my theory:

It was caused by the massive hat accumulation on WO, which caused the chart to literally break down.

I reckon something, but don't want to jinx it.
Too late. If you don't want to jinx you don't bring it up. What have you done. Sad

OK I think it's over... the weak hands have been shaken out and we can go up again. So this is actually good news.

OMG! Check out the Bitcoin Cash's quarterly futures at BitMEX.

1 BCH = 0.031 BTC right now, at least something to cheer on!

Market cap is down to ~95 billion $.

I still think that the drop below a market cap of 100 billion $ is only temporary.
Too many parties are incentivized to keep the price above the level that is necessary
for a 100 billion $ market cap.

I seriously doubt this...  unfortunately.  I mean the basic sentiment that this might actually be capitulation?  Yes.

But that it's over?

Lol.

Trace Mayer was vocalizing $3500 a few weeks ago.
I would hate it, but it is probably possible as an ultimate low.
Maybe this is what whales like him want.

This has happened so many times, that I really should have learned to keep a few grand in Bitstamp for days like this. I’m transferring now, but by the time it arrives, the opportunity will have passed.
