They probably do. Once you get into "the game" you don't quit unless you played roulette and got burnt so hard that you can't get back even if you wanted to.

Like the guy who lost BTC7000 on Just-Dice back in the day?

Slowly rising on null volume.

There might be a slight step up in 2-3 hours, as it often happens at that time.

Actually..... I don't care anymore.

I'm gaining more and more stash. We'll see what it does. if it goes to zero and dies, it was a hell of a experience. Everything is paid for, no losses and no gains. If it doesn't... Wellllll, then i'm working on my early retirement right now, and save the major bulk for the homes of my children to give them a great headstart compared  to the rest of the masses, and start a easy life with less stress.
Best gift you can give your kids. Wink
Just nitpicking here, but don't spoil them too hard. Lots of rich dumbasses walking this world who never learned the joys of overcoming challenges. Can adapt challenges to fit one's lifestyle and net worth, but just throwing around handouts generally doesn't help. Otherwise solid post.

There were a few times where I got on Bitcoin casinos just to watch the game results of others. Watching people lose hundreds of thousands in seconds is more fun than actually playing yourself.

I bitcoin fortune as an inheritance can easily be a curse.  The recipients need to develop strong character or the money will destory their lives.

You are absolutely right. I tought them well and they respect money and the effort it takes to aquire it. Its just that when you CAN give it to them, it makes life so much more easy, and being able to focus the big picture. But yes, you preach a very wise lesson that many forget.
I started early by saving money for each when they were born to be able to pay for their studies, and they make use of it, (without having to start their career with a huge debt) and are very grateful i did. I truly love my kids, and they get to grow up to being responsible adults. Mission almost acomplished..😊 (and yes, they make me proud to be their dad..😎) Lets hope they will change my diapers in return when needed...😁😁

Well, I will try to expose my steps at tracing it back to reach my conclusion and let's see where is the mistake I (probably) made:

- Address with a balance of 80000 BTC that hasn't moved since march 2011: 1FeexV6bAHb8ybZjqQMjJrcCrHGW9sb6uF

- Addresses that funded that balance in one single tx at 2011-03-01:

1EC7bX9TucqzKL4aCRQb5UhsgdxdSn2w4z

I now assume all that addresses belong the same person. I guess this is not mistake.

Ok, now look at the last of those addresses:    1EC7bX9TucqzKL4aCRQb5UhsgdxdSn2w4z

It was funded with 6679BTC  on 2010-12-25. Thats its only funding, so again we assume all the funding addresses belong to the same individual. Maybe the mistake is here.

This are the funding addresses:

Quote
1JTmqXYFfdjWW2Z6TvbkfPT8L8vHdKGyMc
1LEKtycHHRCqj2TBEiqPeBdiWYY3RFj3BU

1BMt8dxBwreG3ALu8RPqNhvtWTC2rak7ii
1Gq6YyhbJpeJyLewQ1kRuMS6cXkuHZGjyt

Well, we can assume all that addresses for sure belong to the same "person" even if it not the same of the 1EC7bX9TucqzKL4aCRQb5UhsgdxdSn2w4z one.

The amount is around $1700 at the time.

And... here is the interesting point... who is this "person"?

Well 1MCwBbhNGp5hRm5rC1Aims2YFRe2SXPYKt (cgt ) is the old EFF donations addresses. It is assumed all the other also belong to them.

So..... Either the 80000BTC belongs to the EFF too.... or to "someone" the EFF would donate $1700 on 25 december 2010. Wait a min.... Maybe Wikileaks/Assange?!?!?

Please someone tell me where I am mistaken.
