^ @ibian

A "riot" of otherwise civilised citizens is nothing. Not dangerous at all.... How many have died? I don't know, but I don't think that many. Most probably less than people driving their cars (which is an statistically more dangerous activity).

As I said, you need to go other parts of the world (preferably in active war) to find out what humans are really capable of in terms of real life-threatening violence... if that's what you are into.

I wouldn't be surprised you would be scared like a pussy initially.... until you accepted the new reality and turned into full "survival mode".

P.S.: I really don't know how this turned from my preference to have noisy (but otherwise friendly and civilised) neighbours so that we can better come along with each other... to your preference for life-threatening experiences lol

This is not an act. Everyone has something they like to do. For me, it's surviving dangerous situations. And the world is becoming increasingly feminized.

It doesn't sound like a positive evolutionary trait.  When I was 16 or so I'd swim like a mile out in the ocean to the sandbar in basically shark infested waters.  Now I'd never do shit like that.  The risk reward ratio is just not there.  Probably doesn't help having watched a bunch of Youtube videos of people being attacked by sharks in kayaks in the ocean.  That hippy bullshit about "sharks have no interest in humans" is a joke lol.  Fucking hammerheads swim right up and attack the shit of kayaks even if they're smaller than the kayak is.  Good luck if you're swimming instead.

Been trying to educate myself on the new DT settings & it seems only 5 people have me in their trust settings.
Bunch of bastards, I’ve got loads in mine as well, feeling very unloved Cheesy

Congrats to those selected for DT2 though.

What the fuck?

I've loudly and longly proclaimed my total lack of understanding of this area. I'd better outsource this sideline to my click farm in India.

Why Wekkel, thank you as well!

You I've admired for keeping sight of the little bit of serious the thread needs to stay at all relevant.

Quite a turn out. You'll have us lurkers looking up from our shoes in no time.

Something to ponder: your carefully crafted high quality posts matter.

https://www.reddit.com/r/slatestarcodex/comments/9rvroo/most_of_what_you_read_on_the_internet_is_written

This is something I ponder on and off. That 1-3% figure is pretty far out. I'll bet there are people who've been reading this thread for longer than most of us have been here who've never even registered, let alone written anything.

I'm sure it's easy to be intimidated by the astonishing power and paint-stripping insight of titanic intellects such as the one I happen to possess. I still think they should make themselves known. We need a lurker amnesty.

Come on out. We won't hurt you.

Welcome to the visible side of the forum!

- How long have you been reading the WO? Do you think we are all crazy or just a few of us?

- Are you bullish or bearish?

- Hodler since 2012?

I'll start with those three Smiley

Amusant.

I wonder what they do here, tbh. What's their upside to the pages of tosh.

It really isn't complicated: everyone here is "lucky" enough to be in on a once in a lifetime chance to front-run the old money. They get it, but by design can only participate financially by persuading us to hand over our coins. Just don't hand them over till you have secured generational wealth.

In case you didn't know the Kalergi plan kikes, using the ability to print money from thin air, have taken control of just about every large corporation on the planet.  You'll notice Obama (another Jew servant) was also pushing the same NPC script the other day about "toxic masculinity".  Their plan revolves around the fact they know women are completely mindless and just adhere to whatever popular opinion is, so unempowering men and 'empowering' women really just means empowering the state and whatever bullshit narrative they attempt to float.

Thing is, none of that stuff happens in developed countries.

American weather is fooking mental compared to us soft Europeans. I've probably done 20-30,000 miles around the US. A lot of the time the sky was assaulting me in ways I've never experienced before.

Got my paper today, thanks.

Ah. Good to know. It took its time. But you are foreign. May it be the foundation of a generational dynasty of selling bits of old paper to other people.

Hairy, Hi. Pleasure to meet you.

Spring 2012. I was lucky enough to "get it" immediately. How? A younger relation mentioned it to me, knowing I had had a long-standing interest in PMs and tech. I sent money to Japan within a couple of weeks.

I can't do it better than this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5096445.0  A short introduction to the Trust System
You may wonder why there's no list of users there, as I've explained above, but rather a single entry called "DefaultTrust".
DefaultTrust is a special user who maintains his own Trust List.
The Trust List of DefaultTrust includes the names of those preset users I've talked about.
Beneath the list, there's a value called "Depth". This value represents the number of "steps down" which the forum's software will look into Trust Lists of people in your own Trust List, to construct your final, complete list.
