niceee ^ tell us more?
Long story... got interested in Black Coin way back and mined it for a while. Did not sell on the big pump.. Of course I have no BC now . Born in Ecuador, studied and worked in the USA. Been back to EC since 2002. Proud owner of BTC along with shit coins. Did not sell on the big pump! Hodler at heart or fool? Time will tell. tyvm. so great you went back. not a fool, wait for the really big pump after next. is there a bitcoin scene there? how good is the internet there? Small BTC community but I do not participate; I live in the mountains away form civilization. Internet is very good in the main cities in Ecuador. I have very good internet in my hidden crater via antennas that I installed. You can visit me here: http://pululahua-ecolodge.com/Pay with BTC or shitcoins if you like. Havent we seen this before? I could swear I remember a picture of some model or pretty lady standing here when the railing and sign looked new. I looked a bit but could not find it so perhaps I am not remembering correctly. Place looks amazing regardless. +1 WOsMerit Hope that "Last of the V8s" brings her model to update my pictures. Nice mountains available here as well but that model is quite nice.

It's fine. Leave it. Up to the labourer to do all that, not some busybody who thinks he knows better.
You might find it morally objectionable to offer children of Pakistani labourers education followed by (comparatively) high paid desk jobs but I have no such qualms.

Do you dollar cost average and try to buy more on dips? Do you have a certain percentage of your income that you allocate to bitcoin? Do you plan out in advance in order to determine how much BTC you can buy, or do you get into trouble because you bought too much and then th price does not go up, as hoped? I got another question. How far are you from town ? Is it hard to get supplies to where you are ? Closest stores 45 minutes for supplies. Bigger mall with more stuff 1hr. Plenty of cheap land for sale.. It is cheap because we are inside the crater, probably cant get volcanic insurance.

Anyone who has time to complain about wealth inequality doesn't really deserve moving upwards in the food chain, as they could've invested the same time on figuring out sensible goals for their life as well as some steps towards them.
You're welcome. In addition to this. If all the people who spend their time complaining spent that time on finding sensible goals that are achievable by them and moved towards them, there'd be an inevitable increase in people who know what it takes to move upward as well as people who would be positioned to help their old peers do so. I fail to see how a culture of complaining could in any reality possibly think to compete with this one. Anyone propagating that bullshit is part of the problem.

I actually want a sailboat because I love sailing and the sea. Doesn't need to be too nice, and I don't think it is some huge money hole. If I bought a $25,000 sailboat, I would expect to put another $7000 into it's repair, upkeep, etc. To use it for 5 summers and re-sell at something like $15,000 is well worth it in my case.
Word of advice from a sailing brotha, expect to spend as much on repairs and maintenance and upgrades as on the boat itself. That's why the definition of a boat is "a hole in the water you throw money into".

Yes this kind of malign puppeteering is indeed foul and financially irresponsible to boot. What right have you to send people to the chumpatron of 'high[ly] paid desk jobs'?

What really is BS is stating that everyone has the same opportunity to endeavour to improve their situation. In order to do that you'll need, well, opportunity. If you're totally tied up in whatever circumstances you might not have that.
Not everybody has the same opportunities. But everybody has opportunities. This idea that anyone can just 'break free' at any time from any circumstances is just plain naive frankly.
Not break free. Rise above. The discussion started with an observation that there is a permanent whiner class that does nothing other than whine. And it strayed into patently false global assumptions and accusations, btw that whiner class is whats called a vocal minority and is easily ignored.

Allow me to pull it from the quote above: Anyone who has time to complain about wealth inequality doesn't really deserve moving upwards in the food chain, as they could've invested the same time on figuring out sensible goals for their life as well as some steps towards them.
You're welcome. If you truly believe that is globally true then you are either blind or a fool. first world views for first world problems. You cannot think beyond Nintendo fat slobs that leach off society. The world goes beyond your front yard. What opportunities can these kids take advantage of? https://www.child-soldiers.org/where-are-there-child-soldiers

What we are seeing, societally, is a shift towards shoe-horning Pakistani manual laborers into jobs as NY Investment Bankers. In a manner of speaking... It's starting from the West Coast, though. I grew up in a barrel full of faeces chained to the stretches of Ganges river bank they burn corpses on. Look at me now. yeah, looking @ you

If you had a choice: 1. Btc at 20K average for the next 10 years with fluctuation only between 15K and 25K. It goes up to 15K tomorrow (just for the purposes of scenario comparison). 2. Boom and bust scenario where btc could be 3K or 100K on any particular day in the next 10 years. What would be your preference? JP Morgan will buy bitcoins on BAKKT when they open.
No, they won't. It would solve nothing for them. Too small so far.
