It is confirmed that Samsung will make his new galaxy s10 with an integrated crypto wallet. One further step in the direction of mass adoption! I know the screenshot only shows ETH but let's hope this will support BTC as well.

That is why they market or promote "crypto" items in ways that include ETH as if it were some kind of BTC equivalent.

In fact ETH is nothing like BTC. However it brings some nifty functions that serve the general crypto industry/space.

When imagination dominate reality, vous perdez les repéres (I don't know how to say it in english). You need to accept that Bitcoin ETF will never be approved. This will help to think better. I believe your trying to say "you lose the bet." It's more like markings, or signposts (losing your 'way'). Or in his case, perhaps 'marbles'.

I think its "markers" like you would place in a bet...at least thats how I interpret it. I like your second answer however. *edit* I was just trying to translate it into the nearest english colloquialism.

Yes... perhaps could be a kind of testing ground for various functionality that might get included into bitcoin or second or third layer, someday, whether 1 year from now, in 50 years or some other timeframe.

I like your second answer however. *edit* I was just trying to translate it into the nearest english colloquialism. It is not really directly translatable - as it does mean 'markers' but in context, it's more often markers on a map or graph; points of reference or signposts... I think in English, you'd say 'losing your way' (I just edited my original post for clarity). But I was trying to help you out, not him. He's on my ignore list

you just go to a bank and show your documents in person. they're not gonna scan or copy anything this way.
https://www.ncua.gov/files/regulatory-alerts/RA2005-05Encl.pdf2. Can a bank keep copies of documents provided to verify a customer’s identity, in addition to the description required under 31 C.F.R. § 103.121(b)(3)(i)(B), even if it is not required to do so?
Yes, a bank may keep copies of identifying documents that it uses to verify a customer’s identity.
I think it's safe to assume that some banks do keep scans. It's been ages since I opened an account, but I'm pretty sure they made photocopies of my ID.

Jeremy Allaire, CEO of Goldman-backed crypto platform Circle https://dailyhodl.com/2019/01/24/goldman-backed-circle-predicts-bitcoin-and-crypto-comeback-plus-ripple-and-xrp-tron-ethereum-litecoin-vechain-crypto-news-flash/“People throw around ‘crypto’ like it’s a bad thing… Guess what? Cryptography is at the foundation of protecting modern society, human privacy. It’s a fundamental tool of our cyber defenses. It’s a fundamental tool of every corporation." ... “We see this as much more transformative even than the web. We think this has a long arc that will have a far greater impact on our civic institutions and our economic institutions.” “The key thing with Bitcoin is it’s unique in its security and its scale. And this idea that we need a scarce, non-sovereign store of value that individuals can hold in a protected fashion, that’s attractive all around the world. And I think it will be increasingly attractive.”

All banks do that. Have oppened accounts 3 weeks ago and you better believe they kept everything... IDs, invoices, proofs of housing...
