Ummm.... Dwolla never left.

washed their hands of crypto though

And also, I got a bunch of emails a while ago telling me to remove any funds I might have had on there (not for a loooooong time).

So yeah, dead.

I heard SolidCoin was making a come back too.

Isn't tether just solidcoin with a new name?

It matches DeathAndTaxes description of solidcoin.

ScamCoin requires implicit trust in a single semi-anonymous person, it isn't peer to peer and is completely centralized.

Well, yeah. That and about 60 other 'coins' which sprouted up around then.

I really feel that I should be wearing my hat now but I’m getting 0.08BTC per month to be in this signature campaign. I know it’s not a lot but it adds to my stash & you never know how much this could be worth one day.

I feel like I’m letting the team down, man.

I might have to leave the campaign soon for the WO bro’s.

Actually 0.08BTC/month is a pretty decent rate. I miss my hat too but camps like these helps me to reduce my acquisition cost which makes me a happier person.  Cool I am already dancing on that thin line with that price $3360. If it goes lower for another $100 I'll start to see red stuff on my portfolio and I hate red.

I want to be as green as this guy below:

People look down on signature campaigns & I do sometimes feel embarrassed that I participate in them but I get paid to advertise by posting which I enjoy doing any way so I may as well get paid for it.

I did 1 single one for goalcoin, and that looked a good project. Sadly a million nothings. But never mind.

I guess overall I have missed out on a lot of potential BTC, but hated sig spammers at the same time probably put me off.

I know I've asked this before and mic tried to explain, but what exactly is this hat thing that's going on? Is it from this thread? Yes, I'm a n00b with certain things. Do I need a hat to show my support or can I just say stuff and get pats on the back?

Sigcamp's doing a lot for me atm too. Almost totally unable to add to my stash for over a year thanks to tanking prices (I sell for bills boo) but my campaign's really, really ensuring my levels don't drop.

We shouldn't feel so bad for it, should we?

Me & you have spoken for years, I can personally vouch for you as a great poster & great guy. The hat thing is a Wall Observer ‘bro’ thing. Let’s get homer to design you one. It’s just kind of like an ‘in crowd’ or ‘cool kid’ thing.

I don’t wear mine atm because I’m in a campaign that requires me to use their avatar.

Homer - can we get a hat designed for our friend buwaytress? He’s a Liverpool fan too Smiley

If there wasn't any sig camps, btc wouldn't be as big as what it is now probably. I mean it is a very radical decision to invest in crypto for many people. But when you get some for free and experience how they work and more importantly how they gain&lose value over time, it makes it a lot easier for you to invest in crypto.

Paid $15k total for my btc (it is around 4.5 at the moment, only 0.5 left to make it 5) till now and half of my total btc came from sig camps.

I was afraid to put $100 on btc before. But look how I ended up buying $15k worth of btc now.  Grin

nice you're saying this, a few weeks back I asked him the same thing, don't see him a lot in here, crossing pads sometimes in other threads and he's always very on point and very informative.....
would be nice to see him in HAT as well

The next bitcoin halvening is in ~472 days.

Currently 1800 new coins mined everyday.

That will be cut in half to 900 with an 1.8% inflation rate.

Why does this matter?

It marks the date when bitcoin becomes less inflationary than central banks annual rate target of below 2%.

The launch if the Bitcoin Network in 2009 was a global earthquake.

Now is time for the tsunami.
