Ibian, did you stop trading bitcoin when the bank asked you to open a business account? Or did you get a business account?
They want nothing at all to do with cash that comes from in-person sales. And they assume it all does because why not. Other than waiting for people who want to sell, my only option is a bitcoin atm, and there is none nearby. They simply don't want to do anything with cash that you can't prove come from a legit business with all the right paperwork (invoices, etc). That is common knowledge since many years ago. The fact that it is coming from in person crypto sales just makes it even worse. From your comment you mean there's more people wanting to buy than to sell in localbitcoins? Yeah I'm having to turn people down. Even old reliable contacts. It's not good for anyone, but there it is.

But for us hodlers it looks like a good sign that there is more people wanting to buy than to sell even if it is just in localbitcoins. I assume it has not always been like that, right?

Yes, but a train ticket there and back is almost $200. Which means I would have to exchange at least $20000 or so, depending on fees (unknown at this time) to make it worthwhile. I see, I had no idea train tickets were that expensive in DK.

If we abolished the welfare state and had a 20% tax with all the hidden shit included the purchasing power per worked hour would be four times as high. Socialism simply does not work and we are all going to suffer for it sooner than most people think.

Bitcoin's Lightning Network Continues Breaking Records: Now, Over 6,000 Nodeshttps://www.cryptoglobe.com/latest/2019/02/bitcoin-s-lightning-network-continues-breaking-records-now-over-6000-nodes/According to the latest data from Lightning Network monitoring site 1ML, in the past 30 days, the Lightning Network has seen impressive growth:
number of Lightning nodes: 6,085; up 14.55% number of Lightning channels: 24,647; up 27.2% network capacity: 656.94 bitcoin (BTC); up 15% Why is Lightning Network growing so quickly? There are several explanations:
-There is a real need for very fast and very low cost Bitcoin payments, which is especially true in the case of micro transactions (such as for tipping creators of interesting or useful social media posts), which is not addressed by on-chain Bitcoin transactions; -Increasing availability of easy-to-understand guides and tools for using the Lightning Network, such as Pierre Rochard's Node Launcher, Jack Mallers' Zap Desktop, and William O'Beirne's Joule Chrome plugin; and -Increasing public awareness of the benefits of Lightning Network, such as the Lightning Torch initiative started by Twitter user "hodlonaut" on January 19th .

I can take a bus from Malmö to Stockholm for 249 SEK (about 30 USD) and there are dirt cheap train tickets too. But there are at least three different train companies trafficking that stretch and a shitload of bus companies, and I am pretty sure the taxes are not lower in Sweden. Edit: MÖ- STHLM is about 610 Km

It looks like a letter of intent that only agrees the basis of a (non-exclusive) negotiation for a sale. And this only after due diligence is completed (which it may not have been, as the buying party could have backed out, or not completed due diligence). Interestingly, it appears no payment is specified - so it does not follow a deal was done unless a consideration was agreed and exchanged and referenced in another later document. A 'sale' needs a price, a payment and a receipt or reciprocal exchange of title to the asset. Karpeles asking to rescind was probably because nothing happened and it was just a loose, open ended and non-finalised negotiation. This document does not prove a sale, just that there was an agreement to negotiate one on the terms laid out after they had looked at the books. Unless they show evidence they completed due diligence and some sort of consideration was paid and/or shares were handed over then it is not credible that it actually happened. I doubt the Japanese Receiver will take this seriously.

Remind yourself that less than 1% of the world has even touched bitcoin and crypto.
You took the risk. You made that leap. You are now an early adopter. You reap the rewards.
This isn't about just next year, but for the next decade.
