can anyone dig out a prediction that beats this one in accuracy and efficiency? found this gem in a 2013 price poll.

17.7.2017, 17:17:17 Uhr: 17.423,13 € bzw 26.861,24 USD (1 Euro = 1,5417 USD)

the guy made only one post ever, predicted a 2017 price of €17.423 while in reality price went to €16.457 in 2017.

missed it by 5%  Shocked

It was me...... and created another account @2017 cause i was ashamed for missing the price by 966€

wow! I was suspecting it was you for a long time...

but how do we know you are not shamelessly lying? can you prove it? what will be the yearly high in 2023? if you hit it again with 95% accuracy you are the man!  Grin

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

4100 soon.

This is not 2015 all over again, not even close. Bears thinking they will have many chances to scoop up cheap coins at 3000(or uber bears praying for 1500-2500) will be punished for laziness, greed, lack of vision, and just being plain late. The Baby Bull Market is growing each day. THE BOTTOM IS IN Long live King Bitcoin.

Going to break 4k, are we?

Didn't we already do that a month or so ago?
I fail to see the wow factor in that, just normal volatility.
It's because we're showing more evidence of it reversing.

Nah, it's too early for that, we have several more months sideways to look forward to.
I'll be glad if I'm wrong, but I'm probably not.

I would say you are both right and wrong Wink

We have bottomed and yes we have several more months of sideways.

pish tosh

I would say you are both right and wrong.

You are right about the sideways.

But there's plenty of room yet for a stab down to the dark side.

I'd even prefer it that way.

I'll bet you a litecoin?

I will take it if Hairy won't.

I will wager 1 LTC we have already seen the bottom of this bear market.  That is, it will not go lower than 3122.

Suggest period of wager is until Dec 31 2019, or we go over 7500 on Stamp in USD (or under 3122) - whichever is sooner?

Edited for clarity.

I will also take that bet, if those terms are accepted by Mr V8.

By the way, Isn't the phrase in the movie "the last of the interceptors" or something like that?
Haven't seen it since the 80s but that's my memory of it. Gonna check the internet for that now.

Yeh lets abandon the Bitcoin Network and jump on xrp version 2 lightning network (LN) instead.

I beg your pardon ?

Lightning IS Bitcoin.
Right and Elephant IS a Car

Bitcoin network is bitcoin network
Lighting network is lightning network

claiming otherwise is a dishonest shill.

A Bitcoiner supports Bitcoin network with mining or mining shares.
A shitcoiner supports a shitcoin node whatever his preferred flavor my be, XRP node, LN node, JPM node or what not crap node (cheap crap computer)

LN (in)directly supports JPMCoin, XRP..... with atomic swap any crap is instantly interchangeable

Crappy worthless nodes Version 1, XRP erks me like...,  no difference with version 3, LN or version 4, JPM

Are you crazy? Is that your problem?

Didn't you know?
When you use TCP, you're no longer using over IP, and is in fact something completely different.
Also, IP is amazing and TCP is a shit protocol.

I am confused.

You don't use TCP over IP? Irony maybe?

I predict there will be a large Bitcoin movement similar to the free state project https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_State_Project.

A few million Bitcoiners and their families will move to the smaller Carolina state, South Carolina. They will vote in all pro Bitcoin politicians to every office.

This will be known as the Carolina Crypto Migrant Family Project, or CCMF Project for short.

Due to the small population of South Carolina and the low voter turnout, it wont be hard to take it over politically. Once Bitcoiners are in power they will outlaw the use of all forms of payment except USD and Bitcoin. Federal law requires we allow USD to be legal tender. There will be a surcharge on all USD however and the proceeds of the surcharge will go to the State Treasury and immediately converted into Bitcoin with market buys across multiple exchanges.

All capital gains taxes on Bitcoin holdings will be eliminated. All wages paid in Bitcoin will be tax exempt.

Bitcoin and Hodling education will be mandatory in all public schools and universities receiving state funds.

These are just a few measures I predict the CCMF Project will enact.

Needless to say, I predict South Carolina will be the wealthiest state in the U.S. by 2030.
