i dont recall jbreher ever saying to dump btc for bcash_lol, at least here in WO. he has made a choice based on his understanding of the protocols and potential advantages. hes well aware of the potential use cases of each. and hes one of the smarter people here and at least understands both sides.

He did in fact dump some BTC for more Bcash and even some more BSV than BCH. Other than that I think he has an extremely healthy BTC stash and is trying his best to hedge every possible outcome even if biased by wrong perceptions. His money, his call.

you can be a prudent bitcoin actor by holding btc.
you cannot be a bitcoin citizen (which votes) without mining and/or node running.

extending your analogy a bit, those who simply hodl could be compared to US green card holders: basically all (or almost all) rights, but NO voting rights.

Leverage long (or leverage whatever) (especially 80x) is a nearly a certain way to ensure that you don't have much if any BTC in the long run.

This might be one of those cases of back and forth that takes several days.... or breaking above $4k could actually fail...   I would not conclude failed attempt, unless the price moves a couple hundred away (below).

But as long as we remain within a couple hundred dollars of $4k (5% or so), then it may be interesting to watch such $4k wall.. get chipped away and eaten and chipped away.. and perhaps..... VIOLA!!!!!!  At some point.

 I dont know any custom hat shops.  You can get a patch printed with an image (dont have the link with me) and I would imagine if you were to purchase the Goorin brothers hat I used as a template (it's called Pointer - not sure if available in white), you could get someone to airbrush the colour on the cap.  Some of the newer designs might be more difficult but I think one could use the same process.
