I remember the good old days not long ago when all we talked about was where to have the 100k party and how it would go down. Now its just Jews, Muslims, Pasta cults and such.   Cry

If nobody wants to talk 100k party with me anymore than lets start talking 50k party or 1000k party.

1000k party is gonna be the big one anyways. I dont want to hear any talk of moving the party planning discussion somewhere private. The best thing about a great party is rubbing it in the face of everyone who cant come ffs!!! Cheesy

The greatest purpose the WO can ever achieve for humanity is to plan and execute Bitcoin price parties, there is no nobler cause.  Cool

So back to the topic. Where to hold 1000k party and what fun things to do? ? ?

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

At that price we can hold it literally anywhere we want.

Some ideas

In one of The Pyramids
In the torch of the Statue of Liberty
In Big Ben
On the Moon
Roach’s house (He’ll hate it but don’t think he could turn down the cash)

Have a merit kind sir. These are great ideas, and I especially like having a party in Roach's house  Cheesy

We can chip in and do a home makeover for him in return and create a Bitcoin themed luxury home for him to live in.  A little dust out of each of our wallets should fund this with ease. He will have to bow to us all and kiss our trezors though first, and then renounce silver and proclaim Bitcoin as his true lord and savior.

Damn! You just bested me on the news as I lost time browsing that website instead of posting it on WO!

EDIT: Website appears to be already down.

EDIT2: apparently the choice of browsing was correct as at least i could actually...browse the website!

"Bitcoin is booming to its highest price in a year and the Chart Master says it's heading straight for $10K"

https://twitter.com/CNBCFastMoney/status/1140732730872946691

Finally someone noticed that 2018 was a falling wedge pattern, which we broke on 1 April. IMO, 10K is too conservative even for a short term like a month. We touched $9500 yesterday, so we can expect to break the 10K resistance soon. Those who were waiting for 6 months to get a big correction, are getting extremely nervous. I can tell this by the number of posts (ignored by me) of n00bs like gembitz, joinov, r0ach, etc. who get overly exited with every dip which is a food for their sick brains that they will have the chance of buying at 2K and below.  Grin Grin Grin Every one should know the truth that if they miss the train now, they miss a profit worth of millions in terms of fiat. And this is the moment FOMO kicks off.

So libra will use investor and user funds to buy low risk assets like securities and debts.

Interest from above will pay investor dividends and ongoing expenses.

They are reinventing the Tether scam. A crypto pegged to FIAT. Nothing to see here.

I would pump and dump the shit out of it if it wasn't 1:1 with USD

it is not pegged 1:1 with USD, but with a not better specified basked of currencies. As it is intended to be a global payment processor Libra (the currency) will be pegged to various securities chosen to minimise volatility and reflect users adoption (i guess bigger EUR weight on reserves if more users are buying Libra vs EUR etc...).
But in the end yes, a stable coin not subject to pump and dumps.

At what point are the general public going to wake up and realise that any “crypto” based on a centralised system is no better than the current FIAT system?
Sheesh.
Oh well, at least it is raising awareness of crypto in general I guess.
But with so many “solutions” in place I fear that they may not be able to see the wood from trees.

I like the idea FIAT money has competition.
Comeptition pushes markets to the better.
If bitcoin fails because FIAT money get ultimately fixed, well, I have no problem with that

Mind: blown.
Only way Governments have the possibility to beat Bitcoin is getting their FIAT money ass good as Bitcoin, not banning it, there , they are only making the case to use Bitcon better.

So, this is what i like Libra: at the end we(money system users) win.
