Next week we'll work on "cow." The cow goes mooooooo.

in which language the cow goes mooooo ? English ? hahahahaah

The varying onomatopoeia for animal noises across cultures is very interesting - for example while dogs in English go 'woof', in Korean (IRC) they go 'bow wow'.  The noise for pigs varies quite dramatically too.

Great. I come here for some insight and the discussion is on animal noises.

Put a buy in a $4 as its all the gox bux I have. Lets see if it gets filled.
However with these prices and residing in Japan with access to a "faster" deposit I am seriously considering injecting a little fiat.

Talk me out of it?

Having the same thought...
So talk us both out of it.

It is a tantalizing thought especially if you've been in Bitcoin a while and have realized gains over initial investment.

Can Gox really afford to remain silent? This is all looks shady as fuck

They created the panic in the first place, I think it is their intention to keep it this way. HIGHLY unethical.

I know...sorry...I've been here for 10 hours talking endless gox.

And it was either that or an argument about Win7 or Win8....let's face it, learning that a cat goes 'nya' in Japanese is faaaaaar more interesting than that.

sorry where does it say on that page that they have swithced to btc-e

Have a look into what instruments they are offering

plus500.co.uk is still quoting MtGox, but since they re-opended after their weekly downtime (sun 12-2pm) trading was only possible for a few minutes. Price is ticking, but trading disabled. Perhaps they are having discussions about a switch ... would be wise.
Stamp would be a much better choice than BTC-e ... but I guess they much be in favour of wild cards like that spike down to $102
Watch this space.
Certainly seems like the safest way to play the Gox price if you want to. No way I would wire money to Gox, but I would take Plus500 CP risk for a short term punt ...

Oh yeh, cows in the UK definitely go mooooo ... except the mad ones, which go like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gi5IEjeH6E

They switched to "bitcoin btc-e daily" for me, means they force close you position every day. They are shady fucks as well, not much better than Gox.

That is what amazes me most. They don't care about any damage control whatsoever.
If this was my company i'd update every 30 mins if needed. But Mark doesn't give a shit.

It is in MtGox's best interest to end the panic asap. Their fiat fees took a plunge too.
But Karpeles is too slow / incompetent to understand this.

it seems though that mtgox price is back working now as it allows me to close my open position

Interesting ... in the UK I am seeing the price tick, but am unable to input orders ... buy/sell boxes do not click

From now on, it must go up, big time. Get that fucking statement out, and better make it a good statement.

if i was him i would hire armed bodyguards 24/7 - i can imagine some of the people that have lost vast sums would be quite up for some physical retribution.

Haha so true. Most time you cant get real good infos out here. Most people *Fonzie are trying to manipulate people for their own profits. It shows again how discusting the human nature is. I believe in Karma so I am calmed.

Whatever... I wish we would have a premium member category for real serious people.

Yes, i was stupid enough to put 6 bitcoins there for trading and spread exchange risk, obviously none of us believed he'd go so low as to lock up BTC there, and yes, It was a stupid move, but lets move on from that now

That's not certain at all. Billy/Willie is just waiting for some bid support before he starts up again.

The last 25-70 dumps could be Billy taking it easy for now. "Time between consecutive dumps" has almost the same distribution.
