Huobi taking the lead again, Bitstamp following, Mtgox dead.

Gox is dead? It looks like they could be #1 again soon in volume. They also have the best price:
http://bitcoincharts.com/markets/
This is just their bi-annual bitcoin sale.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Hey, great idea here: Mark should do a cheesy used car sale TV commercial for Gox. "Mt. Gox is blowing Bitcoins outta the door with our special members-only pricing!"

Then the mile-a-minute disclaimer at the end: "Subject to availability. Offer not valid in some countries. Purchased Bitcoins should be available in 2 weeks."

I've been watching Gox for quite a while now... Under 300? Really? The price there is just surreal.

So, situation normal.  MtSux refuses to die gracefully.  FUD, disappointment, and abuse, lavished on non-believers.  Yup.  Normal.

On a lighter note, was watching the action over at gox on BitcoinWisdom.  Saw the price go below 300 and noticed the ad on the right of the screen:

Okay, so I have a distorted sense of humor.   Grin

Any reason for the huge BTC-E(610) - Stamp(635) spread?
Has anyone of them FIAT/BTC deposit/withdrawl problems?

Anyone explain to me why these guys will give me £400 right now  for my bitcoin
https://localbitcoins.com/instant-bitcoins/
When they could be getting them for £173 at MtGox?
