In actual nature, I have never seen or heard about an actual tail wagging a dog; however, in theory, I have heard a lot of theories that would require tails to wag dogs, because some people either believe that the world works like that or they have not sufficiently thought through their own speculation requirements.

The Saudis can see the writing on the wall with the wave of renewables and electric cars coming.  We will still need oil for aviation fuel and some manufacturing, but demand overall will be way down.

Hard to claim Bitcoin solves double spend when PoW doesn't solve rough consensus attack, so the thing is designed to be some everbranching bullshit of multiple forks:  Bitcoin 'Core', Bitcoin Cash, etc, and the same phenomenon everywhere else like Ethereum classic.   It also uses false premises like pretending anytime two chains exist with the same algo, one will somehow be terminally attacked and disappear into the void..except they don't.  

Shitcoins obviously have a counterfeiting problem.  If you have a counterfeiting problem, are double spends actually solved?  Not really, because like I said, the excess coins are not governed by longest chain.  Not to mention it being impossible to create a decentralized digital shitcoin in the first place because transaction validators are always designed to centralize.  But it's not really a counterfeiting problem.  Anything based on artificial scarcity is...destined to have no real scarcity since the act can be replicated in some manner.

It's not BTC needs Wall Street. It's actually the opposite: Wall Street needs Bitcoin because it's a decorrelated asset with huge volatility.
In a world of low/negative yields, banks are desperate getting a positive yielding asset class, where they can source their commissions.

I thought that CME allowed for naked short sales, but BAKKT had to use actual bitcoin collateral/settlement?

Of course, any large institution is likely going to attempt to play around with rehypothecation (aka fractional reserves), but officially BAKKT is supposed to have BTC to cover all claims and claims are covered at the end of each contract, too (which they describe as daily settled - which I am presuming to mean that they have the BTC at the end of each day.  Surely, I am no accounting expert).

we are waiting for this big thingy to come in last few months, but as i had wrote multiple times in last few weeks that november bitcoin will be hot topic around the markets, we just need to wait  a bit longer and see if that happens,

personally i dont expect much, but rumors can always make movements that we dont even expect
