The Bargain Boyz have kicked off the celebration early with some pints of shandy, happy to have loaded up their F-150s with sub $7k corn.

I suspect we won't hear from them in a while, but who knows what will actually happen? To be continued...

Didn't you hear that they are still waiting to buy, those dweebs.

Someone caught a slow motion video of them this morning, and I don't think that they are faring too well...

They are not really in very good shape.

Well, we are at 7514.98 on bitstamp, therefore the 7500 faction won (vs larger 6500 faction) although 6500'ers came very close (on bitstamp).
well, now, if I look at it under the microscope, maybe there was a wick below 6500. Certainly not on coinmarketcap or coinbase, but, whatever.

6425 is the datum of record

true, although i don't see why you have such piety toward bitstamp.
to me, it's just another exchange, but I'll go with the flow around here UNTIL bitstamp does something stupid with it's low volume.

The Vegas accords.

Trust me, you don't want to reopen that can of worms, I doubt a quorum could even be assembled in these decadent times.

They struck twice in the last 30 days. You can see the hallmarks of their work here:

- extra large volume
- bargain prices
- 20 inch mud tire tracks at the scene
- lingering smell of cheap cologne

F-150s (and GMCs) are my relentless opponents on the highways around here...always driving like maniacs...and ...never...signalling... ANYTHING.
It is truly feels like a battle sometimes with cars whizzing about at 15-20mi above speed limit of 60-65mph (it's not a autobahn, so those limits are mostly justified).
65mph=105 km/h
80mph=129 km/h

(VB1001)

In 99bitcoins, they made a list with links to all Bitcoin deaths.
(I am working on other graphics and have generated this for this data)

https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-obituaries/

The graph tells us that it is better not to believe in the news of market manipulators.

Hmm I don't think its possible to get a better match than at the moment between 2014-2015 and 2018-2019.

We may be having a bit of a front run again where we bottom in December like we bottomed in December 2018, when everyone was expecting not to bottom until January 2019.  Certainly we are showing unusual strength for the last few days before Christmas.  Am starting to think that January 2020 might be a good, strong month leading up to the halvening.

The yellow support line seems to be lifting us out of the downward channel.   The real test will occur before 25 January, where the yellow support line hits the top of the downward channel.  The vertical dotted yellow line in the channel represents my interpretation of 'make or break' time around 20 January if we have not made a final decision by then.

Zoomed out view.

Meanwhile longs are 11:1, but I have stoppped caring.

I already explained why.  Bitfinex is a fake, criminal exchange with the price entirely controlled by a single entity for years.  It's not multiple people all overleveraged on the same side of the trade, it's a single entity attempting to monopolize the entire float in order to artificially rig the market in the direction of his choice.  A single person moving a market temporarily isn't totally abnormal, but when a market is entirely controlled by a single entity literally forever, the definition of that is a scam.

It's also impossible for this single entity to not be coordinating with Bitfinex owners themselves.  Because back in the day, the same entity was rigging the price on Bitfinex, Brexit happened and caused a movement in the opposite direction of where he was attempting to move it to, then Bitfinex immediately claimed they were "hacked" and just stole all customer deposits.  This 'entity' had massively naked shorted the market and couldn't cover.  But the same entity spends most of the time attempting to rig the price up.  Bitfinex is MtGox 2.0 - an identical replicant.

Why are they not in jail when it's so obvious how much fraud is occurring there, and that was even before "Tether" was introduced?  Feels as if some government entity - whether it be the US or China - has just stepped into that exchange and told them "we're going to use your exchange to manipulate the price wherever we want".  That's basically the mission statement of the Fed and ESF, so not exactly far-fetched.
