Also I am not buying yet.  My long standing plan for 8 months now is to only start buying when my long positions start to get liquidated sub $3k.  We are a long way from sub $3k right now and could easily never get there.

That's a really depressing image. just look at that TP.

That's because everyone else has been panic buying all the toilet rolls.

One of the few times I should have given in to the FOMO.
Meanwhile at your local drug dealer:

As I said, the thing I fear most right now is the human panic. And my lack of fiat to buy new coin.

Get real. The thing everyone fears most right now is running out of toilet paper.

No but seriously, society is a Tom Hanks tweet away from looting and rioting. Am I the only one who sees the storm coming?

Guys

It genuinely looks like the Chinese have beat this.

We will beat it too but we will need to go through 1 - 3 months of lockdown.  Prepare yourselves today.

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/04/health/coronavirus-china-aylward.html

It's sooo good to know that the world's citizens can beat a flu virus. Whew.

Not like the world has ever overcome the flu virus before, year after year, without complete lockdowns. /s

Read the article I posted above from the NY times. This isn’t the flu.

When the Chinese say 80% of cases are “mild” they include pneumonia in “mild”.  Mild does not mean having a scratchy throat.

“Mild” includes deep fever, drenching sweat, full body pain but you do not require intubation or oxygen. Mild means you do not require life support.

Here as well, talk of schools etc. closing.

Past the contain stage, now will be the slow it down if possible phase.

Here (Spain) we are one step closer than just "talk": Schools, universities, museums, teathres, etc... all closed for, at least, the next two weeks.

Business are recommended to remote work as much as possible and people recommended not going out of home unless necessary in the more affected areas.

No lockdown yet though.

Well, I think we're fucked now doesn't look like this 200 week ma is going to hold. I won't sell any coins, but it will be a long time before we get back on track.

All focus should be on the central banks now, what do they do? Buy assets directly, helicopter money, debt jubilee? Fucked if I know, but nothing is turning this around (talking about traditional markets here not really bitcoin) till they do something.

It's the fucking flu, dude. Quit drinking the koolaid. It's the flu, and never in the history of the world has a flu bug required entire fucking nations to completely shut down everything.

It's not the fucking plague. It's literally a flu bug that tons of people are recovering from. And it's just a cover for the market crash.

Italy has a 3.5% mortality rate with one of the best health systems in the world.  It’s not the fucking flu.

I guess you personally confirmed all those "deaths", huh? Or did you read that in the NYT too?

Welp.

We just broke $5k not long after breaking $6k that has historically been a floor. Remember how many times btc bounced off 6k in 2018?
