regarding your job: fuck it. imagine how relaxed you can be when searching for another job considering your btc stash compared to a no coiner losing their job.

keep going!

Yup. This is one of the reasons bitcoin is so great: It's a cushion to give you both options and time when a problem strikes. Glad you have it, and glad you can plan your next moves without having to panic.

Oddly enough this is what prepper gear *should* be for. It's not so you can live alone in a bunker eating crappy beans and MRE's, a small amount gives you options in a disaster. Options that can enhance survival by reducing foraging in the initial aftermath or freaking out.

watching those bitcoin price break outs for years. what I do not get is who is selling? why sell on a breakout in a bull leaning sentiment? price was consolidating for weeks. are those only stop losses and shorters getting liquidated? it looks like if there are still traders placing shorts, trying to get the price down. why?

Maybe guys who had $12,000 sell orders already placed on the exchanges. They might be out & about, totally unaware of how the market is playing out so their sells are already placed.

Just watched an interview of Julia Chatterly with the Taiwanese Digital Minister on CNN (yep that on the right IS the minister!):

I noticed the following interesting things compared to my country:
1. We don't have a Digital Ministry
2. We don't have any longhaired, bright and seemingly quite competent hacker boffin in government at all
3. None of our government says goodbye this way with the words "Live long and prosper"

Made my day.

[Edited to add]: Happy 12k day, may it stick above this time!

Bear suicide death toll will be much higher than snakebites or the scamdemic flu this year.  Cheesy

Bears if you want a painless ending there are 8 states where doctors can help you move past this life. I suspect Roach has already taken this route.

https://www.deathwithdignity.org/learn/death-with-dignity-acts/

Current Death with Dignity Laws
Eight states and Washington, D.C., have death with dignity statutes:

California (End of Life Bear Option Act; approved in 2015, in effect from 2016)
Colorado (End of Life Bear Options Act; 2016)
District of Columbia (D.C. Nocoiner Death with Dignity Act; 2016/2017)
Hawai‘i (Bear Care, Our Choice Act; 2018/2019)
Maine (Liquidated with Dignity Act; 2019)
New Jersey (Aid in Dying for the Terminally Bearish Act; 2019)
Oregon (Death with Dignity Act; 1994/1997)
Vermont (Nocoiner Choice and Control at the End of Selling Act; 2013)
Washington (Fiat Hold with Dignity Act; 2008)

And 12186 looking good. At the moment.

Why do sellers sell.

Well maybe they had a lot at 3900-4100 purchased on March 12 of 2020

If I had purchased 200 coins in that range say 4000 I am on the hook for 800,000

I might have set a 12000  20 coin sale up and cashed it.

We hit 12k 3 times this year correct.  so a guy above may have done 3 sales. of 20 coins. at 12 k = 720000

which would mean his remaining coins 140 cost him only 80,000

He could set on more sale at 13,000 and if he does that 20 x 13,000 = 260,000

which means he has 120 coins in hand and a profit of 180,000.

I think this is happening if it is and I am correct we will break out of it and go past 13,000 soon.

As all those march 12 2020 buyers. Are reaching a point of perfection.

Ie. their remaining coins were not free but they were paid to get them.

WE WOULD NEED 1 RISE TO 13000 then a dropping candle.

At this point any March 12 buyer  following the method above would be at 60% of the coins he purchased and the coins would have cost him -1500 each.

He could then stop selling. 10%  of his original purchase of coins.  and only sell .5% or in my example he could sell

1 coin at 13900 leaving him 119 coins and his 119 coins would be -1629 each or his profit is 193900
1 coin at 14900 leaving him 118 coins and his 118 coins would be -1769 each or his profit is 208800

So I see the sell offs at 12k caused by people that purchase in the 4000 price range in march of 2020

I also see them ending very soon maybe 1 more selling spike at 13k

then off to the races.
