Haha what a joke. Some don't want the Bitcoin to reach 50k... Not yet..
Damn didn't move move my orders to buy the dip
I am one of them who does not want BTC to reach $50k as long as I get my salary and add some more into my wallet then it could go to Moon or another space Quiet curious when it will reach the highest Peak in this run?! In the middle or last quarter of 2021? Or first one in 2022? My SOMA predictions tell me that around 12 June 2021 we will reach the peak of $168 020. Then the usual sideways and possibly bear market before the next bull run in the zone of $7 tril cap. I think that because of the raised institutional interest, the next bear market will be shorter and shallower compared to the previous bear markets. I expect a brief 55% local bottom correction from the last ATH $168 020, before returning to the bull run. #confirmedbymathandscienceSo one peak or two, most of us agree that we're in a bull market and this bull market is not going to run out of steam soon. Let's see if 600w's grandma was right with her prediction (80k $/EUR?) for the first peak? How many peaks are going to happen? Now I'm a bit worried about that early stage of a fee bubble similar to that in 2017. Let's see how it's going to unwind. Yeah, it seems that the bull market is still heating up. My prediction is moderately optimistic. It is certainly possible to have a peak around $90K this Spring and another peak around $300K in late Autumn. Possible, or sideways now until August-September and then a facemelting rally up to $300-400k! There seems to be too much upwards price pressures in recent times and way too many pieces of good news recently in order to stay flat for several months.. and as we likely realize flat does not really happen in these kinds of situation.. especially not at the top of a range.. so if we were to get flat, we probably need a 20%-ish or more correction first before experiencing the flat. I am not even really saying that I believe that we are going to have the two humps rather than the one hump cycle, but there does seem to be a decent amount of ongoing UPpity price pressures (and accompanying news - and happenings) that seem to be in the current BTC price dynamic's mix. Possible, or sideways now until August-September and then a facemelting rally up to $300-400k! I don't really understand those images... or how they relate to this thread. What's "crypto"? Is there some kind of connection in those images to BTC or even what is going on in BTC currently? By the way, in regards to BTC (topic of this thread, by the way), any BTC traders who had been betting on mostly UPpity since September 2020 have been doing quite well, which may well fit into a buying on dip and/or sat stacker category - but still may well depend on how you might define trader and the extent to which such trader makes down bets - because the down betters have had a pretty decently bad BTC price performance odds since September - except maybe our decent dip in January from $42k to $30k-ish.. though they would have still needed to play that one correctly as well.. since we have largely gone UPpity (so far) from about $30k (to our current $46-$49k-ish) since Jan 28.. so there is that angle.

Haven't you heard? It's not about Bitcoin. It's all about "blockchain technology" and "crypto".

Loved this nice piece of Art. Deserves 1 Merit.
I like it, but to be honest if you have any bitcoin, even a stack of sats you are a serious winner. The desire and intention to opt out of bullshit fiat is a serious win.

Really? didn't we discuss a Swedish ETF here several years ago? Or am I misremembering. You are quite correct (there is bitcoin tracker one XBT provider, trading in SEK) but I think that there is a fine line between ETN (such as XBT provider) and ETP/ETF. Correct me if I am wrong, but i remember someone saying that Sweden has incredibly low capital gains tax rate in some special investment accounts (like low single digits) and that was the whole idea behind this type of funds (such as XBT provider, because you can keep those in the 'special' accounts). Right? I am not sure how, and don't want to spend too much time investigating. XBT provider is referred to as a "uncollaterized debt instrument". I managed to buy CXBTF in Fidelity, but some days there is no US market for it due to SEC complains about it. I guess, i would have to use foreign exchange desk and pay $50 fee when i would like to sell it. I bought it when btc was 4K or so, so that little tracker had done quite well in Roth, lol.

These gaming studios are bringing Bitcoin payouts to everyday Esport gamers.Instead of having to go to a professional esports tournament, you can play online to earn money. That’s the whole point of it. This isn’t my phrase, but it’s the ‘democratization of monetization.’ Once money is software, any stakeholder in the gaming industry can create mini-businesses in the game It’s too early to say bitcoin has changed the gaming industry. But Dickerson said the real transformation comes when bitcoin sees further adoption into mainstream titles like CS:GO. There are millions of esports players waiting to onboard onto bitcoin, and gaming is the way to get them a seat on the ride, Dickerson said.

Ah, yes, that must be the "investeringssparkonto", meaning "investment savings account" Yes the tax is really low, but it is a tax you always pay, even when your assets go down.

Any conspiracy theorists here?
Why would both India (expected) and Nigeria (unexpected) suddenly lurched toward banning or limiting all cryptocurrencies? These two countries have quite a few people, lol.
My conspiratorial explanation is that as WS is getting into bitcoin, it does not want competition for the precious corn. Nigerians were quite into bitcoin, I hear.
Say, a few massive wealth managers quietly talk to IMF or whatever other Central central bank there is, the IMF 'people' whisper something into India and Nigeria regulator's ears and voila-new policies are being enacted and competition to buy corn is lessened. US based hedgies/wealthies probably figured... less for them, more for us.
This all is just a product of my wild imagination, of course.

I propose a simpler explanation. Apparently, both India and Nigeria news were found to lie anywhere between semi-fake and full-fake. So my theory is "just plain old FUD, be it WS or some other entity". The strong point of my explanation is that it's better from Occam's point of view.
