Sure people talk about altcoins as a way to generate bitcoins, but it surely does not seem like a sound strategy, unless you happen to be some kind of insider who is manipulating the shit.. which sure some of the altcoiners/shitcoiners do get involved in attempting to generate BTC in that way because they either have some kind of inside that they believe they will try to exploit or they believe that they are connected to some kind of inside... surely not an invest on fundamentals thesis, even if sometimes framed that way.
It's like pump & dump. Get in early, wait for the price to rise, get out early and leave others holding the bags. Lucrative if you are skilled at it probably but risky and I'm not that comfortable with the ethics of it. Speaking of hats, don't you think it's time for Richy_T to get one?
I missed the hat thing. I haven't asked what it's about but I am curious. If it has anything to do with the UASF hats, I'm not interested. Edit: Fuck it, I guess I'm going to have to edit these together. You people need to post more often. Edit2: Actually, last time I'm going to do it. If we're supposed to do it, Theymos can put it in the new forum software that's coming any time now. They have consecutive post merging on the BU forum. (My own opinion is that it causes people to miss posts).

It has nothing to do with UASF. The hats thing is just a fun thing given to hi merited, perhaps worthy frequent flyer contributors to the WO thread.

It's just that there is so much going into the new release it's just going to take a little longer... you can't rush perfection!

I guess as the value of the bitcoins donated goes up and up, they just have to keep adding new features.

Here it is if you want to test it: https://coinbistro.com/There is a lot of people asking for the new forum software but there's only a fraction actually willing to put in time testing it out, I doubt theymos would ever release something new without it going through proper testing and whatnot - I love the current bitcointalk so doesn't bother me

On our local exchange here in AU, there is a constant wall on both sides that is almost identical, that is constantly moving. When i query them about it, they said it was someone who was marking the market...
Yep. It's a way to manipulate the market. If I have a bunch of Bitcoin and I want to buy at 50, I put up a sell wall at 50.1 and everyone who wants to sell has to sell below that. It doesn't always work though and it's funny to see a sell wall get eaten into because sentiment changed and it didn't get taken down soon enough. BTC is in Impulsive wave now , we believe that end of this would be around 50K---51K based on Fibonacci structure or even 54Khttps://www.tradingview.com/chart/BTCUSD/FzRuLfHQ-BTCUSD-is-completing-Elliott-impulse-wave-12345-and-soon-ABC/

Okay, was away for a little time and got work to do. Back, watch the price. Not 50k instead again down to 48k we had this game last week I think. Hopefully this asshole, who dumps everytime we came close to the 50k,went out of coins.. Or his fingers should fall of his hands... I am good with both events Are you fucking nuts, dieselmeister. You continue posting about dumps for ants as if they matter for anyone who is not looking at 1 minute charts. The last material and significant bitcoin dump that had any proximity to meaning was going from $42k t0 $30k-ish... and we stayed in a kind of uncertainty status for about 3 weeks, which such relatively short period of uncertainty even might end up placing that conceptualization of a "dump" in "ants" territory in the whole scheme of things. Think about this matter a wee bit before getting all excited about whether we are breaking through $50k or not (and sure you continue to assert that some kind of major or meaningful "failure to break through $50k" exists.. which remains a premature proclamation and even a likely overexcited proclamation). We have been pushing up and pushing up for 6 days and floating at the top of a BTC price range... which should not be characterized as a dump but an ongoing UPpity price pressures and ongoing consolidations at the top of a range $42k to $49,715.
