I sort of get "futures", but not something I'm likely to try and do unless I was a big bitcoin miner. Currently, I'm a sort-of altcoin-trading-to-btc miner but not really, so I still end up with more BTC.
Maybe I should get some and try to predict or stabilize my future price a week ahead, and then do the mining activity based on those numbers, sort of an insurance? I'm guessing that's the whole idea of it.

Guys I had a very scary dream... this is what i saw.. I’m online and suddenly my laptop’s screen goes dark it starts flickering and then a laughing sound plays in background. I can’t control my mouse or keyboard. I’m desperately pressing buttons even the power button not responding. I can see someone is controlling my PC and it’s scanning my laptop... he opens my notes from Evernote and Google keeps.. and I saw same thing happening on my cell phone too and creepy background laugh continues. I’m shouting and asking my wife to turn off WiFi.. turnoff electricity main switch... and she can’t find it.. I’m literally shouting that someone is trying to steal my bitcoins.
That was scary I woke up and saw my daughter playing with her new doll which makes sweet (or creepy I don’t know) laughing sound when you press a button and she was constantly pressing it.
Thank god this was all dream.
Here’s tip though never put your FULL passwords, COMPLETE account details or pass phrases on any of your notes applications.
This is what I do... I will write only hints about what I’m writing and I will write only encoded details which only I can understand. For example for a password I may write few characters from start and end. So even if someone gets access to my notes they will understand nothing.
