I only use it for my card, and I usually transfer 0.01 btc at a time and refill when almost empty. I don't think it will crash though.
The Binance debit card looks good. They offer cashbacks at variable rates that depend on how much BNB you have there. Something I haven't quite understood: do only the BNB in the card account count, or do the sums in the BNB vault (getting interest) count too? It's very hard to get any kind of reply by the people at Binance. Their lame instructional videos are usually all the answers you'll get. Depends on what you mean buy "count" They have different accounts that you can move money to and from as you wish, it's immediate and no fee. So you can put your BNB in any account you want and move to your card account when you need to. If you get any kind of interest in any of the accounts I do not know. Reread the question again, do you mean if the total amount of BNB, regardless of account it's in, counts towards the cashback? If so, I don't know.

When I run into stuff like this I can only think that an immutable decentralised ledger of some form that publicly holds the truth of things would be so much better. All land should be on some blockchain breaking down the exact coordinates of the land. Actually, I know someone who was working on this years ago.
There's no reason people can't trade their well defined property easily.
"Code as law" falls over pretty quickly in such cases as there is often a need for human intervention. This is a big problem I have with the grandiose claims of Eth. It definitely has a niche but will never be as widely applicable as they hope. Had they used the same Oracle Database which was publicly transparent and reliable then Bob would not be having any issues. The problem, in this case, is that the property definition changed without any paper trail of why or when it changed. Here in Panama owning property is very difficult because someone can own a property but then someone else comes forward with some paper from 1920 saying their great grandfather owned that property, and they can gain control of the property. The problem being that there was no standard system of proving ownership. My friend used to go up and down the Caribbean coast with a six pack of beer and a stack of cash and when he found a property he liked he would ask the locals to find him the owner. He'd offer them the six pack and wad of cash and have them put their thumb print on a document giving him ownership.

A total horseshit about the 15% long term cap gains in US.
Say what now? Fuck. I may need to sell a chunk sooner-than-later for... reasons... if this is indeed the case. Did a quick search online that there is some uncertainty about rate changes, and saw nothing about "15%" increase. Do you have a link to a story regarding your concerns? Having trouble mentally coming-to-terms with an increased rate on Long Term Capital Gains. Shit's way more fucked up than I ever could have imagined if that's being floated. Dear God we are all in a lot of trouble if so. EDIT: Pausing recurring daily buys for time being for... reasons EDIT2: Might have to double or triple my daily DCA value. Need a few days to mentally process this. Until then, wanna take some "stress" off the table, given the legal bullshit, and stop daily DCA spam to my mailbox from exchange and banks... EDIT3: Yeah, will probably resume DCAing once the fence goes up. Just in a "weird state" right now. I'll probably look back at this in 1 year and say "Way to go Bob. You should not have stopped DCAing for a bit, but c'est la vie..."

As far as we know you are quoting a dead man. He held a lot of bitcoin while he was alive, and probably lost more than many in this thread could imagine.
What an insight you shared there. I just checked the user's profile. They were last active in March. That means their demise happened recently. What a loss. The rumor is it was a car wreck. Truly sad. He made lots of enemies here because he was also a thief/scammer. He started a crypto "game" that I think used monero, but then had it's own google sheets based "currency", and he basically exit scammed, supposedly went to jail (not sure if related) and most likely lost most of it... I had several long private conversations with him. he was a tortured soul. At least some of the time. I never knew, however, that he was a violin appraiser. Lol. This guy more or less brought me into crypto and i enjoyed his predictions and mathematical forecasts very much! I think his game was not intended as an exit scam, i think -as i was watching the development of his castle game- he was fucked by hackers as other exchanges had been fucked also and he was fucked by poloniex also. I am not sure if he had a car accident or if he was accidented, but yes he had some troubles with his wife and his children. RIP, i will still enjoy reading his posts and predictions saved here A quick note to agree with you that Risto was not purely bad. But he did demolish his reputation and his own riches as well as the wealth of others. Along with, as you say, getting others to see the future with Bitcoin (and also Monero). I liked him and had several great conversations with him. It would be terrible if he was "accidented". When the kingdom game was going I would not touch it with a 10 meter pole. He loved the idea of being a king, surrounded by sycophants. He was that as well... I saw the end from a mile away... maybe I was just cynical, but also right.

Bad (maybe good if sold beforehand) news-April 28, 2021 is the proposed effective date for cap gains. new tax calculator: https://www.forbes.com/advisor/taxes/biden-tax-plan-calculator/caveat: this is not passed yet, but it probably will.

If bitcoin keeps rolling like it has than a 3% increase in CG (15% of 20%) isn't going to mean dick for me. That's like stepping on a penny.

dude, where are you getting these numbers? ....they are talking about going from 20% to 39.6% or rather from 23.8% max to 43.4% max (that's a 82% increase) before state's taxes if you have any. You are saying that paying about 50% in taxes on your cap gains means nothing? I had paid it before ('cause i had large short term cap gains way back when in pre-btc era) and it was quite painful.
