Time for bears to admit defeat, grab what they can and hold on for the ride.

Nah, I'm getting the feeling that a longish bear period is ahead of us, unfortunately.

That didn't age well...  Grin Grin

Hehe, yeah, that wasn't my best prediction. Smiley

But in all honesty, a 3000-ish dollar rise is not much, I still think we are kind of bearish, I would hope I'm wrong but until we revisit 60000 and above I say bearish.

You have pretty big requirements, Arriemoller.

It's one thing to assert conditions upon which you would conclude that we are going up from here..

and another thing to assert conditions upon which you believe that the bottom is in...

Sure, maybe they amount to the same thing, but seems to me that your threshold for needing to revisit $60k for the bottom to be in, is really an assertion that you believe that the breaking of ATH is resuming.

Maybe in the end, it all comes out of the wash and means the same thing..., but I still do think that we cannot be having various thresholds to end up all or nothing kind of considerations.. because really there is a pretty damned long way between $33k and $69k, so a variety of things can happen at various points therein... .. and also if we are ending up on more one end of the range than the other, we might get more confidence about a trend reversal for example as opposed to a continuation of whatever trend we happen to be on.

Texas Senator Ted Cruz has invested into BTC

In the range of purchasing (holding) $15k to $50k.... that's not very much BTC.. and I suppose reporting holdings/transactions as a range serves the purpose of disclosing (because he is a public servant) while preserving some privacy.

Aren't we suppose to touch 30K-31K before breaking out? or has that changed now?

I hope no one was waiting for 30K-31K to buy in!

Wondering if anyone can help with a little dilemma I have at the moment....

A friend has organised a fantasy rugby league for the upcoming Six Nations rugby tournament (basically, the annual European international rugby tournament). I really can't be bothered spending my time on this (especially when so many interesting things are happening in bitcoinlandia; and when I'm not really very interested in rugby).

So, does anyone know of any websites where others post their suggested teams, so that I can simply copy their suggested team picks. I don't want to let my buddies down, especially since we haven't really met up for so long now, due to covid lockdowns. But I also don't have the time (or inclination) to spend hours on this.

I need a sneaky quick fix! Any ideas???

I hope no one was waiting for 30K-31K to buy in!

I am sure that there were plenty of peeps selling more BTC than they should because they thought that they could outsmart the situation and failing/refusing to adequately prepare for UP.

We have seen it many times in bitcoinlandia, including guys refusing to cooperate with my hypothetical and to presume for the sake of attempting to work through my hypothetical that the bottom is in.... guys do not want to do it, sometimes.. they just think more bottom is coming blah blah blah.. which sure may or may not end up happening.

Lots of guys believe that there is more bottom coming so either they fail/refuse to buy BTC ongoingly or they sell a little and considering decent odds of buying back, and hopefully they are not playing with margin when they do some of this betting on down when we had already had a decent amount of down, but we know that frequently they get so much confidence that they do that betting with margin too... even though probably the vast majority of us here, we do not tend to play with margin.. at least not too many of us.  Gotta be careful with that shit.. even though there are probably smart ways to play it.. but is it worth it, really.. we have such an asymmetrical bet.. why screw it up by fucking around with it and playing with margin?

How do you lose money in a bull market?

I suppose another way to lose money in a bull market is that you cannot believe it is a bull market.. and you fuck around too much trying to take advantage of how much smarter you are - even after the BTC price had already dipped 50%-ish..  rather than continuously stacking and not fucking around too much with taking chances.

Hey don't get me wrong.  I am not going to be blaming any guys for having money in reserve for the purpose of buying various potential BTC price drops along the way.. it does not hurt to have some dry powder at all times for such purposes, but they cannot just do one thing.. especially if they have cash ongoingly coming in.. they should be DCA'ing.. ... they should also be buying on a regular basis, especially during dips.. and maybe there are some exemptions for guys who have already reached fuck you status or multiples of fuck you status.... but any guys who are still accumulating BTC or far from fuck you status should be buying fairly regularly.. at a minimum.. especially during such dippening times and without waiting for more dip that may or may not happen.

Got curious about "Reacher", but could only find season one on Piratebay, any tips on where I can find the rest of it?

I also stumbled upon something called "Star Trek, Lower decks" Anyone know what that is? Sounds like space porn to me.

Thanks, but rather than picking the teams' finishing positions, I need to pick a squad of 23 players, with a maximum of 6 from each country. And then pick from them a starting 15 prior to each weekend's fixtures. Kind of tricky when I only know the names of 3 rugby players! I think I'll have to follow JJG's advice and go with a random selection....the first game is tomorrow.

Not porn. Just a cartoon/comedy loosely related to Star Trek.

Seems very loosely related from the few minutes of clip I just watched.

I'll stick with the Orville for a comedy version of Star Trek

https://twitter.com/btc_archive/status/1489599183636025347?s=21

Just had a small discussion regarding this tweet with one of my friend and it went very interesting so I thought of sharing it with my WO bros.

So, In above poll although at first i selected “NO” without much thought, but when I saw 26% saying “YES” I gave a little thought and I realize may be this is an option too and after discussing with my friend it looks like yes this is an option too.

Ok so there could be two basic scenarios:

1.Let say bank accepts your bitcoins investment and promises you a certain interest rate let say 1% in BTC annually. This will be a great option indeed, your bitcoins are actually increasing and without any fears of inflation. But if you keep it with you, let say you invested 2 btc, your 2 bitcoins will be 2 bitcoins after a year but in bank case it will be  2.02 BTC.

2. In second scenario let say bank accept your bitcoins but wants to pay you interest not in BTC but fiat like $ and let say it’s 5% (5% of your equivalent fiat investment). Still in this scenario you are safe. Your bitcoins are safe, not increasing but not decreasing too and on top of that you are getting some cash which you can spend on any thing and your original bitcoins remains same.

3. Third scenario is you don’t invest but you just store it, and yes you can access it through your banking app similar to any wallet and you can easily convert it into your desired currency on the go and withdraw the money when needed. Yes some fee in fiat is applicable.

Well please don’t bring “not your keys, not your bitcoins” into this because that’s a different concept and I totally accept it. But in this case bank promised you it’s your bitcoins and on your demand you will get it back.

What you guys think?
