That article does not seem to have any new information, just a re-re-re-hash of the same news, ultimately from the Caixin article.

The OKCoin CEO's statement, IIRC, was made just after the rumor surfaced.  The comment by the Huobi person seems  to have been garbled ("transaction records would go underground"?), the reporter may not know how an exchange works.

I think that the situation is still undefined...

Yes it just go more and more mainstream, central Bank of China will have to say something monday.

I agree and I'm holding, but even through we've been through this several times, it's scary as hell.

I agree it is scary. Back than, I had only 5% of my assets in BTC.
Now I have, at current prices, >50% of my assets in BTC.

The first time I am very uneasy at what the exchange rate is doing, I must admit.
I bought a lot of coins above 100 USD and another batch right before the breakout (at 160-230 range)

something like that happened with 50$ last summer. while everyone was waiting there, it bounced of 60+

nah it isn't scary, it is fun. just have trust in bitcoin, the system works. In the end you will be fine if you keep hodling. We have been through worse times. I'm not saying we are not going lower, i'm just saying we are going higher in the end.

ive been thinking this bottom would be higher than the others.

i still think that...

but i've been known to be overly  optamistic when it comes to bitcoins, idk why, i always have this feeling like there about to blast off at any moment, i watch it crash one day, i'm like " for a second then i think "when it start going up again.... watch the fuck out! BUY BUY BUY

I wonder why there was no volume and no price chang on Saturday, and so much of it today.  Perhaps:

* All active traders get the rumor on Thursday or Friday.  By Friday night all the pessimists among them have sold.

* Nothing changes on Staurday, so no trading.

* The Sunday morning newspapers carry the rumor.  The occasional and week-end traders finally get it, and the pessimists among them start to sell.
