We want Ukraine to win this war, but we also want to set the conditions for Ukraine's success in the aftermath of the war.
What one wants and what the reality is/will be are often different things.
I suspect Ukraine is lost and there will not be a single Ukraine in the sense like there was soon.
Furthermore once the USA has a change of political wind you can bet your ass the remains of western Ukraine, its mammoth cost to rebuild etc will be left to be Europe's problem.
Remember the promises of Ukraine joining the EU?
Von Der LIES is making sure all Europeans are going to face the consequences of this proxy war:
higher prices for resources and a hefty price to rebuild.
And it was the exact resources in Ukraine why this whole war came about over the last 20 years.
Nothing to do with saving people. IF that was ever priority one would never have bought oil and gas from Russia.
The west wanted to dump its Shells and BPs inside of Russia like it has done elsewhere in the world but when Russia said no, it in effect started a cold war of which we now are seeing the final stages.
