30M Jobs 10%
300 million unemployed in Nigeria? But yeah I can see how "cryptos" can help all those Nigerians that are having trouble moving their uncle's inheritance out of the country. 300 million possible nigerian princes, copying and pasting Emails, maybe? Donald Trump to Run for 2024 US Presidential Election; Will Bitcoin Benefit? Donald Trump wants another dance with the American presidency. Last month, he gave the strongest hint of his intentions yet. Bitcoin (BTC) and crypto may be primely positioned in the event one of America’s most divisive presidents in recent memory wins re-election. cryptonewsPlease help my poor mind.... What did Donald achieve as POTUS again? Americans are not as forgetful as me, but about half of them believe in the "new world order" Donnie used to propagate. I was hopeful Trump would act far more presidential as a president but seemed a bit too busy to be liked on Twitter. I don't think he should have wasted a second on Twitter as president. He made bad comments at bad times and should know to be a president is to act and behave as the best of a country, he didn't do that and acted like a complete imbecile in the first debate with Biden. He did better in the second or third one I believe. Having said that Biden is clearly worse from an international perspective. I don't even think he is the real president. It seems Anthony Blinken is in charge. They have managed to make relations worse with Saudi Arabia (MBS clearly hates Biden), China (Nancy Pelosi touting) and North Korea. What the hell is the whole Ukraine business about with his son? Kamala Harris making dumb mistakes and stupid remarks and also said the US would like to see Ukraine in NATO, a week before the Russia invasion. That clearly didn't help. It was a red line for Russia. Kamala was clearly chosen as vice because of her gender and colour of her skin. This sort of thing is preposterous. Biden doesn't seem to like the UK much either and made bizarre comments about our tax affairs which if you believe in democracy isn't up to Biden / Blinken. Obama made similar un-democratic comments with regards to Brexit "Back of the queue". Whether Dave Cameron asked him to is besides the point, he shouldn't have agreed to that. Biden is clearly a poor excuse as a president and too much WEF for my liking. Against existing forms of energy supposedly but doesn't have answers what else we should do. The pendulum looks like it will shift back to republicans. Whether that will matter a lot for Americans personally I don't know / don't care, but if we can have improved international relations then I'd say Trump is the least bad option of two evils. Both Biden and Trump hate / don't understand Bitcoin from what I've heard so I don't think things will matter to BTC.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Ya win some, ya lose some, and hope the former is greater than the atter. Ya go from preyin on whales to being chewed on these dats.
And sometimes you lose it all... Ouch. RIP to the greatest trader that never was. What a crazy story. https://twitter.com/BitMEXResearch/status/1589670014462103558This was epic: "@RogerVer lets make a deal. At least 60k, my BTU for your BTC." The offer is open to Jihan Wu as well.
Consider it primarily as a vote of no confidence in the Bitcoin Unlimited software and development team as it currently stands. I'll add the contingency that the deal is null and void if there are major changes to either.

About this... here's the thing. Assuming the IRS-CI folks actually took custody of the BTC, How in THE HELL did Zhong justify storing ~50k BTC in a way so insecure that this could even happen? Maybe they only have the addresses, and the private keys are somehow secure (like maybe a simple BIP39 passphrase???). I am all for keeping your setup simple so you don't lose the coins via complication. But there is either more to this story, or our dear "Loaded" was incredibly ill prepared. PS. Wonder if our little dump has anything to do with this? Nah, right?

Reading through the court document it sounds like the feds just knocked on his door and said "Give us your Bitcoins." And he said "OK." He was also ill-prepared. But what's curious is how did nobody here know the coins had come from Silk Road? He found an exploit in the SR withdrawal system, stole 50,000 BTC, and then showed up here like 2 months later, and said, "check me out, I'm a whale." Given blockchain forensics were a bit more archaic back then. PS. Wonder if our little dump has anything to do with this? Nah, right?
I think it has more to do with the rumors of FTX being insolvent. Steady lads.

It is hard for me to imagine how someone can gamble with someone's pensions in this way, unless they are bribed or totally incompetent. Just 2 months ago, their CEO spoke like this : “In terms of the risk profile, it is probably the lowest risk profile you can have in that it’s everybody else is trading on your platform,” OTPP CEO Jo Taylor told Reuters last week.

I think it has more to do with the rumors of FTX being insolvent. Steady lads. Yeah... that's it for sure. And I hope I am not evil/stupid for thinking this... but I HOPE FTX is insolvent. I am sick of the shitcoinery. And for some reason I just do not like SB-F. And I am sorry all these funds are losing so much teacher retirement money etc... but the people have to learn that 99.9% of crypto is pure scams.
