i am not a specialist in housing construction, but it doesn't seem very luxurious or long lasting.

Here comes something I do not understand.  To me it seems like a lot of people realized control was lost in that time frame and they are the same people who blame, hate or are scared of a currency made in such a way it requires no governing body and naturally arranges all and every thing necessary to make it safe against most problematic events including inflation and loss of control, with effects just as valid and feasible now, tomorrow and in a century.  Bitcoin.

And I understand, many of them just never research and have no legitimate idea how it works.  All they know is the B S they heard on main stream media and such.  But it is not like you hear and learn about how 401k and properties work all your life.  You have to do your own research and learn how and why by yourself.  So why be such a hypocrite and choose to totally ignore Bitcoin's existence just because you want to be right.  Some people are just like this and then I really believe there is no valid reason they should whine.  They do this to themselves, choosing ignorance over knowledge.

Yes.  There is some truth in your assertion that various technological advances including but not limited to the delivery and availability of goods and services have come though various modern system (can be considered as "progress") - including aspects of the monetary system has likely facilitated advancements in living standards, health and longevity... except maybe there are some vacuous aspects of modern society, the monetary system and even some of the "quality" aspects of modern society.

Even you, eXPHorizon, likely realize that even though Bitcoin is putting the trajectory of societal "advancements" on a somewhat different trajectory, bitcoin does not undo history.

Some folks have described Bitcoin t be like a parallel system in which you can opt how much you want to be included in the parallel system.. or if you want to completely refrain from joining.. as you seem to want to refrain from joining and to whine about bitcoin, especially during periods in which BTC's price is going down,.... and sure maybe you had been whining while BTC prices were going up to.. to the extent that you were not simultaneously begging to receive some "free" cornz.

I would think that you should probably invest some time, energies and finances into accumulating it rather than mere bashing on it, or fence sitting about it, begging to get some and/or even seeming to regret that you do not have any during historical upwards BTC price movement times that are not to likely to stop happening.  

Perhaps you should consider picking up some bitcoin and even creating and following a bitcoin investment strategy in case bitcoin might catch on further than it already has.  Ever thought of that?

Of course, if you look at a standard luxury house from 100 years ago, 50 years ago and today, you are likely to see a variety of differences in the construction..

You might also see differences in regards to what segment of the society owns the houses and a variety of other aspects.. and maybe you would attempt to conclude if the house went up in value or if it stayed the same.. and then what about the money and what about other assets or commodities that you could have invested in to try to hold your value.

Of course, very poor people may well would not have been able to afford houses back then and still not able to afford houses today (renting) and is anyone able to get ahead?  

All kinds of assessments and comparisons can be made, and you still end up being left with questions about where to put your money and how much to put where (that is if you have enough to go around or if you might be better off to concentrate your investments).... and what is available to you based on your various personal circumstances...

and yeah, some folks do not even have access to a 401k.. .. so then what should those folks invest into?  What's available.. and then how liquid might a person want or need to be?  I am not proclaiming to have all of the answers.. but it does seem that some portion into bitcoin could currently work for a lot of people... maybe not everyone, but likely a decent swath of the society, in spite some of the challenges of individual circumstances.

pretty good chance fisrt covid variant has given her long term lung damaged which is yet to be checked.

Basically think cystic fibrous. but just use the word fibrous.

Her lungs are simply continuing to scar.

So to anyone that did not get hammered by covid cool. Just remember that people did get hammered.

We got first version in very late dec 2019. She went to hospital with 2x pneumonia in Jan 2020. And while she survived. she now has a condition that appears to slowly scar and keep scarring her lungs.

Hoping doctors can halt the continued scar growth.

I had delta (2020), and omicron (2022).  I also took two vaccines unfortunately.

The spike protein on what is basically the common cold virus was engineered in a lab (possibly more than one).  It is devastatingly destructive to pretty much all vital organ systems.  It causes incredible inflammation, which if you are already inflamed can be deadly.  It will also cause a cytokine reaction in your body, which unfortunately also causes inflammation as well as damage in other ways, for example causing inevitable fibrosis in the lungs.  It causes vascular damage, heart damage, lung damage, reproductive organ damage, kidney damage, liver damage and neurological and brain damage.

The MRNA vaccine teaches your native cells to actually create the very same spike protein.  The idea is your immune system will respond to rogue muscle cells with a corona spike expression and learn to defeat them.  But the risk is the MRNA delivery method might be a little too good.  And will teach too many of your cells to create the spike protein doing even more damage, potentially, than the virus itself.

I am not a political hack.  We are being brainwashed by a constant messaging, that was meant to be widespread, but then aimed at least at those who will believe it for political reasons. I have known four people who have died within 3 weeks of their last vaccine from "sudden cardiac failure" or a stroke.  All of them under 65.  2 of them in their 30s, but obese.  Of the hundreds of people I helped get vaccinated back in 2/2021 38% more than is statistically expected (considering their age which was fairly high) have died since the vaccine that I helped them get.  Most within 6 months of being vaccinated.  I have direct access to this data.

I created the registration systems for the rollout of the vaccine in a major US population center (8 million people), and was there in February 2021 helping the registration crew check in the patients.  I, myself got my first vaccine that night.

That first night we gave vaccines (to the elderly and compromised) we had two patients (out of about 300) that needed immediate transport to the ED.  I scoffed at both of these at the time figuring they were likely just being "dramatic".

Since then more vaers database entries have been made for the covid vaccines than all other vaccines in the history of the world.  Both in total (overwhelmingly) and in percentage. 

Have you heard that one time in the news?  And yet it is true.

And I have stood in a covid unit in a hospital I supported (Late 2021) and listened to two nurses talk about the people coming in and their own hesitancy to take the vaccine (for a second time in their cases) as they were dealing with so many people who HAD been vaccinated, and watching them die of covid anyway.

After my first vaccine I had acute tinnitus develop mostly in my right ear.  Interestingly I got the first vaccine in my right arm.  After my second dose the tinnitus has increased 3x and is now in both ears.  I have also developed serious heart symptoms including vfib and extreme palpitations.  I have also had some decline in liver and kidney function.  I am in my 50s and am fit, and otherwise healthy.

It would be my personal recommendation that you and your wife look long and hard at the vaccines before taking any more boosters.  Each exposure to the spike proteins does more damage. Some of this damage is permanent.  Avoid getting covid again.  But avoid getting more MRNA vaccines with all your life.

The reason I am doing it publicly instead of privately is so you (and perhaps others) will see that I am willing to sacrifice my reputation for this plea.  Why?  Consider that question... the answer is obvious.

Do with the information what you will.  But please do some digging.  I am glad to give you the names of well respected doctors who are experts in the fields of immunology, cardiac care, and general health if you want.  But they are easy enough to find at this point.

We were sick very very early. Dec 2019+Jan 2020.

Her lung damage started Jan 2020.

 It never got better until June 2021 after 2 Pfizer shots done March 2021 April 2021, Her June 2021 and Sept 2021 X-rays showed improvement

We got omicron in Oct 2021 and she got worse from then on.

So she simply does not match your thoughts about vaccines,but her family dies from germs a lot. Spanish flu got 3 people. Covid got 4 people. Tuberculosis got 1.

My wife had whooping cough as a kid almost died. My wife had measles as a baby almost died.

Off to the lung doctor on Dec 13th see what he tells us. Fingers  crossed for better news

I don't mind blaming people for failures to investigate and/or failures/refusals to look into matters, yet at the same time,  I doubt that bitcoin as an answer or part of the solution is in any way obvious - especially sometimes it can be just difficult to get out of various patterns - and maybe some people will be in better places in their life in which they are more receptive to certain frameworks, and with some people bitcoin clicks faster than others, and likely even a lot of us might have experienced some aspect (or angle) of some receptiveness to shitcoinery, too... so sometimes we could be smart people and just get trapped into certain lines of thinking. and it could even take a very long time to get out of our lines of thinking... .. it is not like critical thinking skills are learned in school or even in the family, and even some people who seem to be critical thinkers will some times get attracted into some shitcoin, ICO, Defi, NFT, yield, leverage or some other kind of variation of bitcoin that is not bitcoin.

Also, the March 2020 meltdown did not necessarily strike people in regards to either that there is a problem and even if they perceived some kind of a problem, they might not necessarily consider bitcoin as part or all of the solution to the various perceived problems.. They might consider some other angle of the unfairnesses in society or even considering that leaders likely know more than what normies know.. And even being critical or skeptical of leaders might not lead to any kind of correct solution, but maybe lead to drug / alcohol abuse, self-mutilation or some other ways of giving up or going into some variation of fantasylandia.

There seems to be some kind of need to be receptive to bitcoin as a solution, a partial solution or something that contributes towards not going down misinformation tracks...and even some bitcoiners might not even know what is bitcoin, but they still figured out that maybe they should buy some.. just in case, even though they don't really understand it.. beyond the possibility of number go up technology.
