getting older is only fun when you look at your net worth and your knowledge... in my twens I never had to interrupt my sleep to take a piss. Now it's almost every night...

This afternoon I have my annual performance review.
If I don't get a good raise, owning some BTC might make me do stupid things like quitting, at current prices...

Waking up at night to take a piss
...
getting older is only fun when you look at your net worth and your knowledge... in my twens I never had to interrupt my sleep to take a piss. Now it's almost every night... Always sleep right through. A year or two ago my sleep was constantly interrupted by having to take a piss or two. For my age and generic health it seemed a bit weird to me. Had urine tested, blood tested, the old finger up the bum check and everything fine. Never found out what was going on but it was like that for a few months. Got Covid and several such health things only after taking the Pfizer jabs. Go figure... If I hadn't had to go travelling at the time I wouldn't have bothered.

I’m picturing fund managers scrambling to find BTC to buy without sending the market stratospheric. Today could get interesting. I wonder if the performance of the different ETFs will start varying based on the methods and timing they use to acquire new BTC. I’d imagine they’re all paying different prices daily with the current variance in BTC prices from one hour to the next.

Been a while since BTC has been behaving like this. Congratulations to everyone who has survived another bear market, held strong, and stood by your convictions despite economists, politicians, noble prize winners, talking heads, hell even friends and family telling you you're an idiot, bitcoin is worthless, and you will soon lose everything.
Everyone will think you are lucky. But the fortitude to stay the course when all around you are talking shit and trying to make you doubt yourself is not easy to come by. This is my 3rd bear market, I know the pain. And soon I will sell a small portion, pay off my house and investment property, and enjoy the fruits of my convictions. To everyone else here, I salute you. If you have made it, well done. If you have yet to make it, I believe in you, like you believe in bitcoin. We saw the future before anyone else, we did the work to understand it when it was easier to be a hater, and now once again, we link arms like brothers and observe price discovery, like some of us have done many times before, and all of you will do again.

Anytime kids.... 60k? Hey! Is that a Samsung Galaxy? How'd you get BTC price on there? I need that! Please Yes! it's a Samsung Galaxy Watch 5, I use an app called "Crypto Watch Face - Wear OS", it's available on the playstore... I'm just trying to figure out how to leave just BTC, I'd like it to only show it, and not these other cryptocurrencies.

Two out of three pre halvenings we had a dip. Let’s see if it will be three out of four dips or 2 out of 4 no dump.

~snipWhere did the $57k value come from? I'm not seeing it and I've been watching; the best I saw was US$56,686. Are we no longer using Bitstamp?
edit: Binance posted $58,842 already.
You either need a new computer.. or glasses.. or perhaps a proper website reference. $57,055.. Read it and weep (like 4.5 hours ago.. Old news.. been there done that). https://bitcoinwisdom.io/markets/bitstamp/btcusd Thanks for the image (and I had already seen toxic's screen cap) but I don't get it. We are/were on the same page - bitcoinwisdom.io/markets/bitstamp/btcusd but it was showing me a high of US$56,686 and then, thinking it was old age/glasses/dreams, I went directly to the bitstamp.net/markets/btc/usd/ website to check and neither was it showing that we had hit $57k. Not wanting to admit to my own frailties, I'm going to assume there was some sort of temporal anomaly, restricted to my geographical location, causing me to perceive events differently. Also, no more fishy crackers before bedtime for me.

For reference, on Kraken Bitstamp, when you switch timeframes (hourly, 4h, daily... etc.) you get a slightly different top value on each of the website charts, too.
