Evolve Funds Group Inc. announced final non-cash capital gains distributions for several of its exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to be processed for the 2025 tax year, with a record date of December 31, 2025. This means your total number of units remained the same, but the Adjusted Cost Base (ACB) of your investment increased. I don't know the US tax code but in Canada, this means that you will be issued a T3 and must include the amount stated on that form as a capital gain for the 2025 taxation year. The even shittier part is that it was done on Dec 31, 2025 and announced on Jan 1, 2026. Totally unexpected by investors I bet. Motherfuckers! Gold dropped to 4300 and change today and btc shifted up a bit.
It does look like wealthy Middle East people are dumping gold for btc to move the btc to a safer country than anyone in the Middle East.
We could see strong action up for BTC maybe 80k by April 15th.
I read that in my country (Pakistan) for the first time in 40 years gold price went so down in a single day i.e. 43,600 Pak Rupee/ tola. Thats why I sell my BTC last year to buy a new car. I am still young enough to drive that. |

Thats why I sell my BTC last year to buy a new car. I am still young enough to drive that. watchout for grandma and grandpa driving F350 Super Dutys.. they wont even see that car till they step out and find they accidentally parked on top of it. |

Don't worry about me duder. I'm pretty tan and doing pretty good. I went bodyboarding the other day. The waves were actually big enough to be scary. It was an adrenaline rush, especially trying to duck under a wave before it crashes on you.
