Very simple My proposal is Bitcoin is worthless.
This thread is for arguments  against the value of Bitcoin.
Any thing in favor of BTC get deleted and placed in a third thread.

I have read all replies from 1st page to page 4 and it seems people have ran out of ideas, there are repetitive opinions and even though what i have in mind has already been said by one or two persons, i can say that bitcoin is a worthless coin because without the internet, no one will hear about bitcoin anymore and this is where the fiat currency is supreme because even without the internet, people can still make transactions since they are in cash.
Yeah it has become too repetitive so I am locking it.
I may revisit in a few weeks time.

Two lies and a truth   - one lie, one truth and an unknown:

Bitcoin is worthless, the bottom is in, and you are no fun!!!!!!!

 Angry Angry Angry

Don't take it too serious ''Bitcoin Geek'' in the just concluded BCA Smiley

one lie --- fiats is supreme
one truth --- Bitcoin cannot function without the internet
the unknown --- i also don't know Grin

Apparently, @philipma1957 was just doing some kind of survey to know the opinion of others why bitcoin is a worthless asset and why bitcoin is a worthy (valuable) asset.

Below are the links to the two threads:

this thread will accept only reasons For Bitcoin as a valuable asset.

I propose that Bitcoin is a worthless asset. Please show why I am correct.

For example, in OgNasty's case, he has never lost an argument in his whole life?
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! The most famous is ‘Never get into arguments you can’t win’, but only slightly less well-known is this: ‘Never go in against OgNasty when cash is on the line!
Name that quote.  Cheesy

How come you don't have more than 200 bitcoin then?  Which you should have had quite a bit more than 200 bitcoin with a mere $100 per month investment into bitcoin between June 2011 and January 2013 (which would have had averaged you right around $10 per bitcoin costs)...

And, surely you could have had more than 200 bitcoin if you would have had errored on the side of accumulating and holding your coins rather than fucking around presuming that you were "smart about cash." You also would have had been greatly helped out if you had just hung onto your coins instead of selling all of what you had in 2017 for around $3k per coin and prior to 2018 when you supposedly (finally) learned about cycles, to the extent that knowing about cycles could have had helped you to become moar better good when "cash is on the line."

I had not seen Phil's "Bitcoin as a valuable asset" thread.

I cannot keep up with everything that Phil is doing - and I had ONLY come accross the "bitcoin is worthless" thread after following a (merited post) link from a member to such thread.

Get a load of this:

https://horsford.house.gov/sites/evo-subsites/horsford.house.gov/files/evo-media-document/miller-horsford_digital-asset-tax-bill-discussion-draft.pdf

Bitcoin is not on the menu, apparently, ....as far as de minimis tx is concerned.
I guess ...good luck with buying that coffee with LN.

EDIT: i don't pay much attention to the stablecoin yield as stablecoins are somewhat retarded, imho.
They are like a WD40 (or KY jelly, lol) that smooths things, but not the essence.

seems to try to solve the income issue. for mining ⛏️

and the stable coin issue should be as they are trying to do.

I will have to study exactly what the mining law ends up being.

Sounded real stupid  but I see @Philipma wanted to satisfy everyone's ego, Those against bitcoin would rejoice on seeing his proposal against bitcoin but then when they see same being asking in support of bitcoin their mouth will be ajar. Bitcoin speculators and their mindset. Waiters and investors alike.

Something remarkable, before the thread had several pages, everyone's reason for being against bitcoin as worthless and for supporting bitcoin as valuable started becoming repetitive. Everyone is cool , now no one would tell exactly which proposal @Philipma has taken to heart.
