As I was saying, more and more gateways on Ripple. http://www.coindesk.com/ripple-network-expands-addition-first-peso-issuer/
The one advantage Ripple does have is billions of XRP reserve. They can afford to launder a lot of money and bribe a lot of public officials. I keep hearing that Ripple isn't XRP, yet every news story is about XRP.

this might very well be the reason for its success and adoption imo. Grin and probably the reason they kept such large amount of premined coins from the begining. remember that main ripple investors are far from being business noobs. plus, what's few hundreds billions in comparaison with the worldwide monetary base trillions? 21M isnt so easily scalable in comparaison if you think about it. but im also confident bitcoin will stay as a store of value such as gold and just as there isnt as much of it as fiat..

ripple/XRP whatever, its not like if everybody also makes the difference between bitcoin and Bitcoin. Its still very immature, the aim being at partnerships and spreading smoothly.

I am sorry. I apologize. I was responding to the article about the Bitcoin ATM. The Fidor bank is welcome to launder money in any way they wish in their intrabank system. We'll see if they offer anything to us peon customers.

Its quite awesome. I dont know why you would feel the need to edit it?

He didn't edit it. Pretty sure that is the image rpietila originally posted. Your second image is the one that was found after people started checking it out.

Uh, right, I didnt understand why rpietila would edit the picture of his estate.

I checked back a few pages and didnt see that image posted but ok then.

The "nice" picture looks like an architect's restoration plan.  The "half-nice" one (with windows in the right side only) may be a photo of the current state.

Yes, I think that's correct. Major project. I haven't even got around to repainting my window frames...

Ok so I started a sort of SaaS that promotes the use of Bitcoin AND freedom of the press. http://www.vettage.com/vettage

Give it a whirl, and maybe we'll see positive impact (not just on the price of Bitcoin)

Anyone know about lakebtc.com?

They have an impressive volume for a new exchange

http://bitcoincharts.com/markets/

They look very suspicious. In the Chinese forum they always claim they are "coming from Wall Street", and have been "dealing with derivatives 1000 times more complicated than BTC margin trading (offered by OkCoin and Huobi)"

.....

我们LakeBTC华尔街出身,比融资融币复杂1000倍的结构化衍生产品都做过无数,为

......

Maybe they are from wall street?
I wondered cause they operate since march and have a daily Dollar-volume of 4k. No word about them on bitcointalk and reddit, so they need to have some other fiat-sources (supposed they don't fake volume). This sharp rise and the operating outside this community can be a sign they have a direct link to big money

They claim to be Shanghai based. Does anybody have a detailed address?

Our address is posted on LakeBTC.com, even with a map in case you need it  Smiley

Yes our investors and advisors are wall street veterans.

No we are not that new in bitcoin standards. This project was started in early 2013.

And 4k USD is no big money either in wall street or chinese language. Not even close.  Grin

Its not suprising in my eyes that there is a massive lack of volume. We've been in a downtrend for so long now people generally have taken their position and are just waiting for the direction. These are the sorts of times when we can have those $100 days.

the problem is now the drift has gone on so long will the $100 day be in opposition to the trend? Once we expect the price to fall, what will it do?
