If you were selling your house for 500k & the housing market went down a bit would you panic & sell for less or delay the sale & wait for the market to pick up?

This question is to the weak hands in the BTC game?

If shaking out the weak hands was a thing there would be no weak hands left by now.

It took 2-3 hours to reach the bottom in the SR1 bust crash when he got arrested and we are at about 2 hours.

The bounce will happen in the next hour IMHO.

How can they claim to sell assets when the trial has not even started ?

Read the announcement: Ross agreed to the sale.

Yes, I should have read it, DPR agreed to the sale, quoting:

WHEREAS, the Government and Ulbricht agree that, due to the volatile market for bitcoins, the Computer Hardware
Bitcoins risk losing value during the pendency of the forfeiture proceedings;
WHEREAS, the Government and Ulbricht agree that the Computer Hardware Bitcoins are to be liquidated or sold by the
Government before the conclusion of the forfeiture proceedings, with the net proceeds of the sale to be held as
substitute res pending further order of this Court;
Who is Ross?

You mean you don't know who Ross Ulbricht is and somehow you're a Senior member in Bitcointalk?

Strange.

Trials are for guilt of crime, not assets seized and forfeited, which he did not contest.

Not a good time to be a Bitcoiner...

No.

I've been a voyeur on this forum for a long time, only made an account 2 or so months ago.
I've seen you on here a lot, just wondered how many BTC's you own & what you see as our long term success/failure etc.

I do not discuss my personal finances with strangers on the internet.  It's in bad taste, irrelevant, and you might get agitated Smiley

It seems the order is finally being restored.
Though all four of pig's trotters may occasionally leave the ground, this is not to be mistaken for flight.

I wouldn't get agitated mate, I guess I'm somewhat different to the average bitcoiner, no worries though.
That's fair enough & I respect your wishes.

We might fall victim to a post exterminator again. It might hover around 10,000 pages for a while.

Well, bitcoin lending has experienced an explosive growth
this year and simultaneously dumping bitcoin to cover later
at lower prices has been a pretty much 100% sure thing.
Could there be a correlation ? Don´t ask silly me.
