I think the only way that Bitcoin will go die, is when the TOTAL BREAKDOWN happen, and what I mean about this is not just the internet, but every electronically powered devices or machines, all the power lines are cut down and no power at all, world wide. This is what will kill Bitcoin. I know this is a little off topic but you get the idea right?
I agree with you maybe in an emergency maybe bitcoin will die, such as absence of internet connection and dissolution of all power grid due to the terrible factor of natural disaster or because of war. Because i think as long as things are still running normally then bitcoin will not die, if there is still a stable connection or power grid. Yes and that too when you know that the internet is not going to be connected for more than two months at least. In normal situation we can never say that bitcoin is going to die because it is growing continuously. The number of bitcoin users is increasing every next day and is becoming a worldwide used currency. i think it is impossible that bitcoin connection will remain as disconnected for more that 2 months, we cannot imagine a single day without internet, internet is now the main and basic component of our life and i think most of our governments are depending on internet, so it is not possible that internet will remain as disconnected for 2 months and therefore bitcoin will remain and wil survive for a long long time. not only bitcoin would die if then there's no internet access , but also a lot of banks that operated with internet, a lot of public facilities that rely on internet as yeah nowadays the Internet of Things has begun . so for me it's more to universal disaster rather than bitcoin only who would die. the possibility this scenario happened also are so small let's skip that talk.

One way that bitcoin would die would be if another type of online currency became so successful that it makes people completely ignore bitcoin.
Thats right, a successful competitor will make many users leave the bitcoin and join the competitors because they think it's more powerful, more profitable, more than bitcoin. Then the possibility of dead bitcoin will continue to exist. But until recently. There is still no competitor that could be an obstacle for bitcoin For now, it's very hard to imagine it happening, because the more developed it is, the internet, then all the transactions will probably shift to online transactions, and, most likely, bitcoin will play an important role in that. Well, i think bitcoin will only die when internet is not used.

If the confirmation of transactions continues to slow down, we all know that increased user bitcoin transactions made slow, this must be serious attention so that if it continues to happen then it could be left out and die.

That is correct, the speed of confirmation in every transaction is the most concern as of now if we based on majority of the user because if we will not experience a fast transactions then we will start to think about using another coin for usage in transactions so we can save time and money at the same time. The crowded network of bitcoin needs improvement so if the network will get improve then it means another years of life for bitcoin.

I think they should make a move about it. many investors are now switching to other altcoin because they have cheaper transaction fees compared to Bitcoin and some transaction fees are free. they should be alarmed about it.

How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?
Another crypto overtaking its market cap surely there are other crypo arising in other countries. They maybe small right now but who knows one day they will be as big as bitcoin ; if people will lose interest about it; if its not properly introduced to the mass and if hackers will try to get into the system Yes there can be many alts but looking at the market cap bitcoin currently is the top one. Even if the alts grow them we cannot say that the alts are going to overcome bitcoin. We cannot deny the fact that bitcoin is the pioneer of the cryptocurrency and it has its own place which the others cannot take anyway.

Yes we can all agree that bitcoin is a pioneer in cryptocurrency world. But there are things that could destroy bitcoin. I am not sure what is happening at the moment with bitcoin, because of this separation in August and all, but i think from what i reed it could be really good for bitcoin. I mean lower fees and faster transaction, what else could one person want . But if something happen and things start going south, that could be end of bitcoin.

But the possibility of dead bitcoin must always exist because there are many threats that can make bitcoin die. Whatever it is like panic selling, a more powerful competitor, etc. We do not know for that reason. But I hope it does not happen while I'm still using bitcoin

I think Bitcoin will dead if each nation chooses to boycott Bitcoin for all time. At that point, there will be no more individuals utilizing Bitcoin in light of the fact that they may be captured in this condition. Furthermore, bitcoin can likewise be dead if there are another cryptographic money which is more productive, more progress and can settle the majority of the bug of bitcoin. Later on, there will be more cryptos qualifying these favors.

The possibility Bitcoin will die is low. but in the future if ever the value might decrease and people stop using it but it will be hard to forget about bitcoin it will take time for bitcoin to die especially if no one wants that to happen.

When we can no longer read cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin will die or end. Bitcoin is a digital currency relying to cryptocurrencies. Our way of transferring money is true sending cryptocurrency address from our bitcoin wallet. It is called Bitcoin address. If transactions cannot read those, then there is no way we can transfer money or someone could able to pay us.

yes bitcoin is not going to die but in fact its popularity is increasing from time to time and therefore more people are accepting bitcoin and making it more stronger, therefore i am sure that bitcoin will remain as the main currency.

I don't think bitcoin will die, because I'm not thinking of it to be happen. particularly now bitcoin is getting more higher. Nope I think bitcoin has a possibility to disappear. Certainly with a particular reason. I do not know what the reason might be but I think that there is a competitor that might make bitcoin lose and many users go away? But for now no competitor can beat bitcoin

Only time I could fully see Bitcoin dying (with a large fight from the whales, early adopters, members of this community, people with a monetary interest in bitcoin succeeding and thriving) is through massive worldwide government intervention to regulate and tax Bitcoin into oblivion. Think about it, the only people that would probably stick around with Bitcoin throughout this sort of think would probably be the early adopters and they'd be keeping it on the down low. Most normal people (I use the term normal to refer to everyday people) would simply just go back to their normal ways of life without Bitcoin.
Maybe an internet shutdown / failure as well? That'd kinda heed Bitcoin useless.

I am finding it difficult to believe that bitcoin will die one day. Bitcoin will only die when there is no internet and it is impossible to imagine that a time will ever come where there will not be internet globally. Just the way it is impossible for one to say US Dollar will die in one situation or let say GBP will die one day. This is because bitcoin has become a global currency already.

yeah u say all It seems to me that such a situation is better not even think. Do not imagine, because half of users can have a heart attack. The fact is that Bitcoin can not be shaken and something will happen to him. At least on his very long time expressed at home Bitcoin, goulash is a soap bubble, which very soon can burst.

Bitcoin will never be die.it will stay the same. Maybe we encounter some problems regardig bitcoins we may seems to have a problem in any of our transactions but still bitcoin is reliable it will never ne die as long as we people are using it and spending it. It may be decrease its price someday but it will never be gone.

I don't think bitcoin will die, because I'm not thinking of it to be happen. particularly now bitcoin is getting more higher. Now bitcoin is developing very well. But that does not mean bitcoin will never die? The chance of dead bitcoin will continue to exist. But not for now. So far there is no threat that can make bitcoin weakened. I hope bitcoin has a long life.
