Wow, after all these years Maidsafe is still not available at any decent exchange..this is one of the reasons i sold in 2019, I see Maidsafe is languishing at number 330 in the league, it treats its investors with no respect. This project will forever be an experiment and has been left behind because of its arrogance in its quest to create an alternative internet. Thank god for my btc.

It is frustrating that exchanges are still playing the short game and fleecing noobs.

Your posts speaks volumes for the ignorance of both exchanges and so many users.. chasing money rather than utility.

You think you're better off holding BTC than supporting one of the few decent projects around?.. pity the fool.

The devs on this project are among the best and the support they command is valued well enough - that they don't pander to those whose only interest in the next pump and dump, only evidences that they are respecting the long term investments. There's always some noob who disagrees and wants insta-gratification - childlike methinks.. and there are so many other copy coins out there to choose if you disagree.

 Roll Eyes

Still, thinks for bumping the thread.. I don't know, if this forum is still useful for engaging those on the bleeding edge but the forum is over here for those wanting more of the latest updates -> https://safenetforum.org/c/development/updates/19

You have been spewing out the same old PR for Maidsafe for years, you will still be saying the same thing in 10 years time and TCP/IP will still be the protocol used by the world for an Internet. Whoever is funding this vanity project must have deep pockets.

spewing out

Why you so bitter?

Those who are part of the problem talk like you.

Do you not have a positive contribution to make? Do you not understand the problem? Are you afraid of change? Are you afraid of the future? Are you selfish or corrupt and challenged by the prospect of the Safe Network becoming a success?

No-one cares about your opinion - it is not people like you that make a difference: it's those who try to make this world better, regardless of selfish individuals and corrupt organisations.

Is this bitching the best you can do?..

Do you not understand what innovation is? Do you think you can do better?.. I doubt it.

I made millions investing in btc, nothing corrupt about bitcoin, it does what is says on the tin, it rewards hodlers, did not plan or expect to make money it just happened,
Whilst maidsafe has spent twenty years promising much and delivering nought, you have been left behind, no one is going to entrust and store strangers data on their hard drives,  you are either a scammer or stupid, which one is it?

You are also, quite obviously, full of shit.

If you are not interested why are you lite trolling on this thread?.. you are bitter and nasty.
Are you hoping a western government will adopt you into one of their propaganda departments?- they are always on the lookout for retards; and they too know nothing about progress and the value of innovation! - that's why the value of currencies keeping falling; btc is no different from the fiat that went before - vacant of substance, just like you.

Making money, is trivial; creating utility and innovating, is hard. Those with good sense know the value of a project when they see it.

derp

Why are you posting to this thread if you are not interested in the Safe Network.. perhaps selfish and greedy. Don't bother replying.zzz

------

Development is progressing well - it's been a good year, capped off with a recent testnet that shows much improvement.
Development takes time and the full potential of the Safe Network is aligned with everyone's interests.

For updates see the Safe Network forum at https://safenetforum.org/c/development/updates/19

There is a review of the last six month at https://safenetforum.org/t/update-16-december-2021/36256

same old thing  repeat ad nauseam ZZZ

Surely you can do better than being mean? Try harder. Try to make the world a better place, rather than just leeching off it.
Yes, development takes time but focus on the positive; focusing on the negatives is lazy.

Privacy; security; and freedom, are important fundamentals and worth striving for.

Is SafeNetwork the "web3" that everybody is talking about today?

Most likely .. I've not paid attention to the semantics but everything I've seen suggests it's just another box people are putting their clutter to help align imagination for what comes next.. and a lot of that about empowering the user.

There's a thread on the forum which Mark posted a comment to as:
https://safenetforum.org/t/web3-bitcoin-dweb-wars-and-their-relationship-to-safe-network/36295
Quote
Safe Network should come out of this pretty well IMO, because it shows by far the most ‘pure’ intent (see the fundamentals of Safe Network which have been true for 15 years), least centralised in ownership, control, governance and intention, and fingers crossed the most robust and capable decentralised tech, which is applicable to all the areas people are arguing over.
and I'd expect they can answer more specific question
but take a look at the fundamentals and check against what you've seen of web3: https://safenetforum.org/t/safe-network-fundamentals-context/25352

Did anyone ever make use of web2.0?.. likely web3 is the same - useful in the absence of better terminology that is specific to utility.. and Safe Network of course being centred on privacy; security; and freedom will have utility in spades.. and not just the sum of those three interests but the intermix of them will be powerful.

I realise the complexity of this project & who am i to tell you guys to push something out the door?
Oh right, i am an investor since ICO. I look around and see all these projects releasing something out the door within a year period.
Some of them might not have full functioning features but they released something. Maidsafe still hasn't released anything which the public can use in 4 flipping years with lots of funds and lots of Devs working on it. Its rediculous.

Patience, I think the project needs 15Y since its inception, therefor we can expect it to be released in 2021.

Shocked 2021? I hope there is a typo here

I believe He is trying to be funny. It will not take until 2021 to release the product
Right, I was too optimistic, my next target is 2031, I think that's very realistic date.
The important thing is the project is still alive and progressing, unlike some high flyers of their time like Substratum.

I have come back after a year and as usual nothing has changed, still no launch,  when the next ice age has come and gone Maidsafe will still be in beta lol

Correct me if I'm wrong but this project started even before Bitcoin itself and it still never had any sort of functional release?  Cheesy

Underlying digital storage technology has evolved several times over during the last 15 years. I'm just wondering if there's anyone from the original team actually still developing MaidSafe. Its one of the first things I learned about here -- it was actually the first Omni (Mastercoin) token, and I think it had a token sale on Counterparty as well (though I could be mistaken).

The MaidSafe team is still hard at work. The last few months have seen significant progress in the stability of test networks:

https://safenetforum.org/t/memdebugnet-4-10-23-testnet/38726

Although the digital storage technology has evolved since MaidSafe started, no one still has anything even remotely close to their vision. Whether there will eventually be a sustainable autonomous network is hard to say, but the fact is that many people continue to support them even after 9 years of development.
