I realise the complexity of this project & who am i to tell you guys to push something out the door?
Oh right, i am an investor since ICO. I look around and see all these projects releasing something out the door within a year period.
Some of them might not have full functioning features but they released something. Maidsafe still hasn't released anything which the public can use in 4 flipping years with lots of funds and lots of Devs working on it. Its rediculous.

Patience, I think the project needs 15Y since its inception, therefor we can expect it to be released in 2021.

"Omni Core" is the desktop wallet, however it was very slow for me.
"Omniwallet" seems to be a self hosted web wallet, I haven't looked into that yet.

Here's the latest dev update by MaidSafe.

As you can imagine there is a lot happening in the background with Alpha 2 and Alpha 3 release planning. We have multiple teams all working on the various components now to ensure we deliver these next two releases promptly and professionally. You will have seen recent recruitment drives to aid us in these next few steps.

Alpha 2 is not far away as we all know, but a timely release is imperative now and must tie up with other parts of the project such as PR, marketing and business relationship building.

TEST 19 seems to be quite stable, that's a very good sign. I guess they won't take down the network before they release Alpha 2. So TEST 19 will probably become Alpha 2 from a Vault perspective.

Decentralized TOR/Dropbox/Freenet/BitTorrent without a connection to the clearnet. All encrypted, but easy to use with simple domain names and more. You could see it as a universal encrypted database where you can store whatever you want. So websites, private data, public data (the system will share keys with others if you choose to make something public). It also allows to update an address. So dynamic data as well.
