Would this PSU be able to power a single bitburner XX after I OC it to 450?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817159124
Johnnyguru and HardOCP are some great sources to read regarding equipment testing and durability. I personally wouldn't touch that pus

^^
This
I wouldn't touch that psu either.

@AMD Too bad your order is still hanging in customs, but you should get it soon.

Yeah I got an email from UPS Saturday and I had to talk to a customs broker. It was pretty painless they wanted a tax ID number probably because of the value of my shipment being a bigger order. I explained I didn't have a company and they were fine with that and it looks like it will be delivered today. Which means I'm blowing off my classes today awaiting delivery.....its not like they cover anything important typically the first day of class anyways....LOL

He he, what year are you in?  The first day of every year on my undergrad had major induction classes for what was happening through the whole year (as well as the customary BCS seminars trying to get you to sign up for student rates [not that I did of course .. cough cough {slowly makes sure e-mail address is hidden leading to incriminating evidence, ha ha}]).

I always give a test on a pre-requisite, algebra, my first day of class.

I try to be respectful and informed.

@burnin

Can I send in chips that have been already mounted on a PCB (Avalon hashunits) ?
Can you take them off and use them in a XX board ?

I’m not burnin, but Xbox 360 PSUs works very well for 1-2 boards.

All you have to do is cut the cord, wire +5V SB and PWR_ENABLE together for "always on" mode and use the three yellow (+12V) and three black (GND) cables to power your boards.

I ran 2x20 an 1x10 with an old Xbox 360 PSU (Xeon/Zephyr version with 203W) just fine, but only up to 400 Mhz.

The nice thing about this is that you can find old 360 PSUs on ebay for less than $10 and they deliver very clean power.

Burnin, will you please answer my question? I sent you an email, and asked you here, but you didnt address the issue.

I have ordered more then 30 boards, and paid more than 3000 euros for them. How much money will I receive if I decide to cancel my order?

In case someone is asking what to buy to monitor cgminer without having to use a big monitor. Here my little monitor i use for the raspberry pi. I like its so small and can be taken with you easily...

Its a sweet little thing but its not made for showing a full screen though so i have to raise the size of the letters a bit to see enough. Thats a downside. But i can connect it directly to the rpi (with a cinch-connector in between), it gets powered from the atx psu i power the bitburner with and its really cheap with 17€ including shipping.

Im not sure if it can be bought outside of germany. 3.5" Auto Monitor

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

I used to connect to my Raspberry Pi via SSH and monitor it via Terminal, but this gives you a permanent display – very nice!

Received my two units last night, both running fantastic. I must say they truly are a work of art, great Job Burnin.

I have them running at 435mhz, 1335 mv, 28m. Im not sure I understand the timing part ill have to read back to find where that was discussed but it definitely fixes the rejected duplicate work issue I started with.

Running them any higher seems to run up the heat quite fast, so I think I need to find a better way to cool them before I go any higher.

Seems they don't ship outside Germany... Silly

Would you be able to check the back of that screen for a brand/serial number/model? Since it gets shipped from Amsterdam, I'm sure another shop (Conrad) will have it too

The monitor itself has no number on it and the package has Model: but nothing is written there...

I can give you the details and the company logo written on the package. Maybe you find it this way with google.

Just got my boards from UPS. There was a $130 and some change brokerage fee I had to pay, but I don't really care as I have my boards and I can make that up pretty quickly. Time to get these parts on my table with my anti static mat and wrist band and start assembly as well as checking the firmware on these. I already missed my environmental science class this afternoon but physics will also be blown off tonight. I think I'll be running these together off of my alienware m11x laptop for the short term, but I'll need to look into the raspberry pi eventually once it's all up and running.

The first one looks a bit different. Mine has no such phonecable and it has 3 buttons on the back with + - and menu where you can change the screen settings. Its more cornered at the back too. But if it has the same connectors it might work. The second link looks more like the one i have.
