Thanks a lot !
i had miss that one

Do they share the database account or i need to made a new account.
And if new account needed, how tie my order to the new account ?

Thanks gain !

I hate to be discouraging, but it might not be worth your time. Neither asic-hardware (cryptx) nor burnin bother responding to any emails having to do with refunds now, so you might start looking for other forms of recourse, whatever that may be.

I am no longer willing to excuse this at all. Once you stop providing responses in email or at least a status update to point to, all faith is gone. I lodged a complaint with BitPay, who said they will not resolve disputes, but they do log complaints. I will further investigate what legal remedies I can avail myself of in Germany this week.

If burnin or cryptx have something to say about the refunds, let it be soon and substantive, or prepare for the consequences of leaving your customers high and dry. Better than saying something, just do the refunds.

In my case apparently, they didnt even know that i want a refund.
So maybe it's worth the 5 minutes needed to make a account

But i think he refund slowly with the money he earn
BTC raise could help if he sold some...
Because i guess, if refund i got, it's in € right ? or in bitcoin ? ( i paid in bitcoin )

Lost coins only make everyone else's coins worth slightly more. Think of it as a donation to everyone.
it has lots of buttery taste..

It depends how he paid. Burnin appears to have submitted a list or something to PayPal of who has requested a refund. These people appear to have been refunded mid-Oct as promised. For people who paid by Bitpay or t/t it's a whole other story tho.

My machines will work for hours and then say

"AvalonTask usb write_err:<-7> LIBUSB_ERROR_TIMEOUT"
"usb_write error on avalon_write"
"BTB0: Comms error<buffer>"

Any ideas?, running cgminer 3.7, XP, and i used zadig

I have to powercycle before cgminer can see the machines again

Are you plugged directly in or into a hub? I had that problem and swapping it with a different USB hub fixed it.

Currently im plugged straight in, no hubs at all.

Also when i first start CGMiner, even though it will work for hours after saying this.

that's funny when burnin is online on localbitcoins, selling coins like he has them floating around the house.

eh?

eh?

Shouldn't he?

He needs to get the money for the refunds somewhere, huh? And if he got paid in Bitcoin, right now is the time to make money of them, considering that they are around 300$ right now Cheesy

I think you can reinstall zadig instead of powercycle to see your boards again. Try a different usb port or maybe upgraded cgminer (latest is 3.7.2 right now)

the CAN BUS cable doesn't seem to work either, both boards alone is fine, but when connected and each board has been terminated...

I can't get mine to work with 1 usb cable either...  Alone they mine fine.

Anyone get multiple boards mining with 1 usb cable on windows?  Any secret?  Does your PC recognize them as separate miners, or just 1?

We (those who wanted a refund) chose that in good faith upon the promise of a 50% return. Had it been known otherwise, keeping the orders active would have at least resulted in getting a miner(s) and being able to recoup SOMETHING.

The problem I have is that 50% should not be difficult to return, especially with the talent that burnin possesses. I see no reason he couldn't build enough "personal" miners to generate BTC and pay those of us back that requested it due to the good faith gesture put forth by burnin and cryptx.

Personally I think YiFu should be held responsible for all the BS that he created and continues to rattle through the ASIC mining world; but that would mean accepting consequences for one's actions - something that doesn't seem to happen anymore in this world.

Yes I knew it was a risk and I only invested what I spare. However a promise was made. If all parties had come back and said, "Tough luck, no refunds kiddies." I would not have been happy, but at least I would know where I stand.

Ok this is new. I'm getting 2 errors i never saw before. When i start cgminer i get an error something like "reset error.this is not an avalon (0:0:0...) and this is when i stop cgminer

Quote
WTF MUTEX ERROR ON LOCK! errno=0 in driver-avalon.c avalon_flush_work():1549

reinstalled zadig drivers but the same. fortunately they still hash. are my boards dieing already?

Edit: I think it has something to do with cgminer, because using 3.6.6 doesn't give me those errors.

And one of my boards makes a clicking sound. What's with that?

>>>IF I HAD THE MONEY I WOULD DO THE REFUNDS IMMEDIATELY!<<<

1st Problem : Paypal is in no mood to release my money soon
2nd Problem: CryptX has not paid yet, i suspect they can't because their paypal is also frozen.

In order to do more refunds before paypal releases my money i would have to sell more boards.
But would anyone here like to buy more boards from me?

Would anyone be interested in reasonably priced fury boards?
I would have to gather enough orders for one reel though.

I understand your anger and you are rightfully furious, i would be too if i were in the same situation.
But without cryptx's and pay-pals money there is just nothing i can pay you with.
I already poured all my private savings into the company to pay manufacturing bills.

Just as background: the 50% i keep from the refunds don't cover all costs.

The problem I have is that 50% should not be difficult to return, especially with the talent that burnin possesses. I see no reason he couldn't build enough "personal" miners to generate BTC and pay those of us back that requested it due to the good faith gesture put forth by burnin and cryptx.

With 0 money i can buy exactly 0 chips to put on boards to mine coins for refunds.

So, to clarify, you are waiting on funds held by PayPal to refund customers that did not pay with PayPal?

Let's be transparent. How much does cryptx owe you, and when was that due? In total, how much in refunds has been paid, and how much is still yet to be refunded? How many customers have been refunded, and how many are left? The more we know about your arrangement with him, and it's status, I think the better it will for everyone.

As for buying "reasonably" priced fury boards, I think it is a little late. I would have liked to do this originally, pre-cryptx price hikes.

You say that your cost was more than 50% for the boards. Would you be willing to explain a little more about that?

I can understand your desperation as well. I appreciate your post about the refunds, and I encourage you to continue with timely updates.

How reasonable? a lower cost group buy on your furys could help everyone involved it seems.

Dumb question: Who is CryptX and how are they involved?

Is there a short answer?

"CryptX had a partnership with Burin Electronics to design and manufacture Bitcoin mining boards."

Ok, I don't want the 50% refund, what about the 70% discount? Heck, I'll be happy with a 50% discount, but NOW.

I too would've been keen on properly priced fury boards when they were first released but involving cryptx killed any chance of that. I too doubt that the price would work to make them profitable for miners, but if I can be proven wrong I would be happy to be involved in a buy.
