Anyone with 2700???
Must be 10 or 15% better than 1700
Yeah. I Was thinkin of getting a 2700x due to the stock cooler. But all depends on hashrate. If it can pull 780-850 hashrate it would be Nice. Let's see I prefer 2700 with 65w instead of 2700x with 105w you can run a 2700 at 105w and a 2700x at 65w, it all depends on ur overclock/underclock and voltage settings. I Personally prefer 2700 but if u give it a goo overclock ur gona be running most likely at 90-100w too.

Yea yesterday it was premiere. From what i can see atleast they have alot better wattage @ the wall. So the cpus will run maybe 10 celcius cooler. Just waiting for the B450 motherboards to come out then illa buy a R5 2600

I am very interested to see how the Ryzen 2 caching optimizations affect hashing performance. I have read the cache should be about 10-11% faster, which is the main contributor to the overall 3% IPC improvement. My local Microcenter is having some great deals on motherboard bundles ($50 off + $20 rebate) with Ryzen 2 CPUs right now, very tempted to pick up a 2600 to see what it can do.
I am currently hashing on a TR 1950x, Ryzen 1700, and i7-4770k. I really don't need another system....

What cooling solution you got on your TR4? Here in Sweden there are no deals for cheaper x470 motherboards so im just waiting for b450s. Meanwhile im getting more Ryzen 5 1600.

Right now I have a custom loop with Bykski block and an EK XE-480 rad. Its waaaay overkill, but I wanted something quiet since it runs XMR-stak 24/7 and sits next to my desk in my home office. When I first built my TR system, I got a cheap Arctic Cooler Freezer 33TR for $35 to get going. It worked great, just couldn't overclock too high with it, but it ran fine at 3.9 Ghz. I'm running 4.0 Ghz now @ 1.18v (custom loop), but it can do 4.2 Ghz with just over 1.4v. But running at 4.0 is more profitable for me. Look for deals on B350 boards, several reviewers are indicating there is almost no difference between the X470 and X370 chipsets. I'm expecting there to be minimal differences between b350 and b450.

a very interesting new processor, can modify the programs for mining under this processor! then it will be the most profitable acquisition !!

Doesn't really matter. CPU mining will never be as profitable. Whatever hashrate new Ryzen processors are getting they will never hit ROI so there is no point in buying them with mining in mind, and if you want to mine from time to time there is no profit (just a few bucks)
are you serious? do some research, it is true that cpu has lower roi but they will hit it... When zec was out the first 2 weeks were great for cpu miners + ryzen should have greater performance and consumption, I need some cpu to my rig, why not buy on which can earn me money? i don't have a ryzen but i did the math on my 8700k. it makes .000058 BTC / day or 316 hashes on cryptov7 and costs about 7 cents to run per day giving a net profit of .44 cents. you're only looking at around +30 watts off idle so if it's on your rig or gaming computer it's running anyway. that's a ROI of just under 2 years is it worth buying tons? no. however, it does pay itself off and makes a lot of sense if you casual mine on a gaming rig saying cpu's will never have an ROI is a mathematical impossibility from what i understand ryzen v2 is better than intel from a hashing to watt perspective so if intel is a 2yr ROI the new ryzen have to be under that. not terrible. the way i see it is i may as well use it to make money when i'm not gaming

Using a AMD Ryzen 1800x with water cooling. Altho the water cooled part was compeletly a waste due to not being able to clock the CPU for more than 100mhz. On cryptonightv7 i get around 435. This feels abit low to me, anyone got any tips? Please PM.

You got a beast there! :p I have seen prices drop for 1920x so im feeling the urge to buy it. From reviews that i read seems noctua tr4 cooler even "better" then the aio cooler.

well, I do not think that ryzen cpu is mining better then GPU, but, there is always a but! here, look, firstly you need to put into your rig CPU anyway , right?! so the choice is between cheap celeron or ryzen 2700 ( it was the call for me) I choose ryzen cpu, why? cause with celeron I can't mine anything.. with ryzen I can mine monero and it gives more then half hashrate of full rx480/580 card i mean ryzen 2700 overclocked to 3.7ghx pumps about 570-580h/s on asrock and even higher on asus mb, rx 480 pushes about 950 h/s with proper bios... so based on some profit calculator my ryzen will ROI after a year.. not bad, right?

Its not about mining better then a gpu. From my own point of view you need a cpu either way right? If you get a ryzen atleast your cpu will have a good chance to pay for itself.

Just a question do overclocking the CPU provides any boost in hash rates? Also is the new AMD Ryzen 2700x be a good CPU to buy to CPU mineable altcoins because of the performance boost? As I have seen in some reviews it has around 10-15% boost in synthetic benchmark and IPC with better overclocking head room and better powerdraw? What do you guys think about it?

Its the big question right. We just have to wait for some benchmarks. If the 2700x will hash same as 1900x it will be golden.
