There is no point buying the ROI processor if you have nothing but mining in head.

It does not really matter and there the CPU mining as well must know will never make profit.

I'm making profits with my CPUs
They are paid and I gain more than energy

And my CPUs are running on 6 GPU rig

hey there!!!

can anyone compare results on monero between 2600/2600x/2700/2700x??

I couldn't be able to find any trusted review about that, only 2700x hashrate but without comparison with the rest of the family

Thanks in advance!!

So you can expect xmr = 700+ h/s from the 2700 series even when mining with your gpus , ram speed  dont seem to do any impact more or less.

2600 i have no info on but i would expect around 600+ h/s

Wow, that's a great improvement over the 1600.

Btw. Any numbers on CN heavy for the old and the new Ryzens?

2700X - 710-715 H/s CN v7 out of the box with wraith prism cooler on Asus Prime x470-Pro and bum memory sticks, 2133Mhz I think. Smiley
Want to put my old EK Supreme LT waterblock, but unable to find backplate for reasonable price with shipping. Sad Any defualt backplate from defective AM4 mobo would also do, I just down't want to modify original to preserve warranty.

Is anyone mining V7 or heavy with a Ryzen 5 1400? If so, please tell me your hashrate. I expect 2400G to get the same (without the GPU).

Thanks.

r5 1600                 3800  3466 cl14

CN 560H/s
CN Heavy  250 H/s

Hey man, you mind to share what miner you're using and it's configuration?

I'm using xmr-stak, let me put the configs I have for both algos:
Code:
"cpu_threads_conf" :
[
    { "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 1 },
    { "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 3 },
    { "low_power_mode" : true, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 5 },
    { "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 7 },
    { "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 9 },
    { "low_power_mode" : true, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 11 },
],

Note that for the 2200G and 2400G there will be a major driver update within a month or so. Right now, very old adrenaline drivers are in use for the GPU part.

Just to share, did some overclocking today on my 2700x. 4.4GHz@1.45V (60C, 19C ambient) - 780 H/s cryptonight v7.
Mining does not load this CPU so much, so it is kept barely hot at this settings.

Mining does not load this CPU so much, so it is kept barely hot at this settings.

Power consumption should be too high for that hashrate.

When overclocking, power consumption increase not in a linear way, and you may actually loose money for a modest increase in hashrate.

My Ryzen 1700 does 520H/s at stock speeds (3.2ghz turbo). When overclocked to 3.8 ghz it does around 580-590, but power consumption goes from 65w to 100w...

CPU's often have first dibs on new coins before good GPU miners are made. Getting early mining on a coin before it reaches top 100 is indeed profitable...

Just did a build with Ryzen 7 2700X on ASUS PRIME X470
Getting hash rate ~740 on stock settings

R5 1500x Cn7 8 threads : 400-450 H/s
R5 1500x CnHeavy 8 threads : 140-190 H/s
R5 1500x CnHeavy 4 threads : 250-290 H/S

R5 2600 Cn7 6 threads : 500-550 H/s
R5 2600 CnHeavy 6 threads : 200-220 H/S
R5 2600 CnHeavy 12 threads : 120-140 H/S
R5 2600 CnHeavy 4 threads : 280-300 H/S
R5 2600 CnHeavy 8 threads : 160-190 H/S

result on 2600 are a bit weird with CnHeavy

We should add entries to http://monerobenchmarks.info/, the first table is for GPUs, if you scroll down there's one for CPUs

Speaking of which, do you know if those benchmarks are updated for CN7?
