I don't believe about this, because there is no evidence to show that terrorists use bitcoins to fund their groups. I think this is just government propaganda, because coincidence bitcoin also move underground and can't be supervised by anyone. I think terrorists are stuffed toys from rulers of big countries, financial support and weapons of war are donated secretly, many people are too religious and forget that religion can be used as a propaganda by a country that wants to destroy them.

yes there is no evidence because we don't know what for the transaction is send and we only know the amount in the transaction. without any proof, terrorists can send with any of amount and they still sending transaction into other wallet with their purpose, beside that they can send in any time without other people knowing what is their purpose to send and for who the amount they send. we don't know if they have buy weapon or sending financial to other group or else.

The government and the big countries will not kill their fiat currencies because that is how they generate money and to be honest, some of the part of the government contributed to the illegal stuffs because they also generate big amount of money in there, so there is no chance that the government will kill the fiat or even bitcoin because of the possibility to earn huge amount of money.

I think the UN can not do anything to stop it. Terrorists always have a way to use their money in their criminal work, and of course, bitcoin is just the means by which they can do the work. What we need to care about here, why they can own so much money / bitcoin while they have to shirk the government. Clearly, there is always a real force that supports them with huge amounts of money.

This is more political then bitcoin discussion! Terrorists are not here from yesterday, and bitcoin is just a tool in our hands, we alone decide will we use bitcoin for something good or bad, that stands for every other currency.

No if Bitcoin was used for this it would be pretty horrid dude, it'd probably lead to people and governments just stopping the usage of Bitcoin within their countries and raiding the miners to pretty much put bitcoin on a standstill.

Back on topic here, I do think Bitcoin could be used to support pretty bad causes but this could stand true for any other currency in the world too, it's not like that supporting terroism is going to be the main point of usage for these currencies so they're not going to punish the currency for this.

Yeah terrorist needs funds how can we know that they're using bitcoin or not. Due to bitcoins anonymity there's no way to know the identity of a certain person using bitcoin. And yes, bitcoin has been used to fund terrorist and illegal activities and most of them can be seen on Deepweb which they ask of bitcoin to do their services like killing, toturing, etc,.
Actually I've been to deepweb first before encountering bitcoin and at first I thought bitcoin was a illegal money but after a few research I find myself wrong.
