here's a prediction:

Top 3 coins on CoinMarketCap by this time next year:

Bitcoin
Ethereum
TorCoin

I see absolutely no reason why we can't make this happen.

I have a question. For your prediction, how will TorCoin reach over the current 3rd place's when the current marketcap is over a billion dollars?

What will be available next year and how will it be adopted to be ranked so high?

Majority of even the top 10 have been in the game for many years to get that high.
i think lot people is going to loose lot btc with them, just carefull when you invest your money

I would not be surprised to see TorCoin hit $5 by the end of this week and $10 by the end of next week .. there is no reason why TOR can't be right up there with DASH

Great coin don't get me wrong, but I don't think it'll climb that fast.

OTHER TRANSLATION - 500 TOR
We are offering a 500 TOR bounty for anyone who translates the TorCoin.org website into any other language

from your website forum but still waiting ,  could i translate  your website to italian? thanks for the answer

Hey Boss, How many languages are available?

I can do it in Spanish and some others. If you assure me that I have the time to do it I can start
right now, but with the certainty that I will not work and then be rejected because others do
the same work. If you confirm to me a specific language I take the responsibility to do a good
job for you.

Let me know, I will translate for you all the pages of the site as it is in English
and I will send the document for the transcription as soon as possible.

The main issue right now with translations is the effort involved in updated the entire site with a translation .. let me figure out the best way to do this in the next couple days before any translations are done.

This is not a real problem, I can do it completely for you - html, css for me is not a problem I can do this job.
Oh and I think the banner on the top of the home is badly placed.

Let me know what you think and I take care of everything, you do not have to do anything but wait while I
do the work. I can prepare everything and then give you a folder with the files ready to upload it to the hosting
very simple, apart I need a little time to do a good job. Let me know please.

Done deal! That's exactly what I wanted to hear :-)

I will PM you ..

Hey thetorcoin i can do polish translation (i've send you msg). PM me!

bunch of retards buying torcoin when posw is 20 cents and climbing to 20 dollars. torcoin will dump as soon as the scammer running it decides to run, he is providing no service, has no real contact with people and is literally 100% vapor. this has been done before.

torcoin isnt even affiliated with TOR.

If the Dev wants to crush his coin, at what point would he do that?

If the coin goes up in value to the $5.00 mark, the Dev could liquidate just 200,000 Torcoins on the exchanges, in nearly invisible chunks, to pull in a cool million.

When he/she begins that process, will the number of available coins reflect the added coins immediately?

Will that then scare the market's and drop the price?

Or will the Dev be good to his word? Hold off on inflating the Torcoin volume and devaluing the prices?

I think the Dev has offered to set the nest egg/funding machine aside, if we could find a reasonable way to accomplish this.

To "keep the trust."

Yes don't sell. Let dev dump first. So dev has 1.2M coins. While block reward is 1 coin, so LOL

If I was going to dump I would have dumped when the price hit $10 ..

I'm not interested in dumping any coins.

You may not be dumping, but a partner of yours def is

Why are people even falling for crapcoins like this? Besides that its not like Tor isn't integrated in other "older" and more reliable coins: Shadowcash & Spectrecoin.

Good question. The current state of affairs has the ROI totally pointed in favor of the OP as he owns 90% of current available supply. Miners are rewarded with 1 TOR per block and are not able to adequately supply the "demand" for the coin. Right now OP stands to gain everything in the event of a sudden jump in value. Or course he wants the value to sky rocket. That's why he "predicts" the value will be $5 by the end of the week and $10 by the end of next week. Of course he "predicts" TOR will be Top 3 coins by the end of 2018. Because even if he starts dumping his supply, which he will, and causes the value to drop he will still stand to make $millions. I'm not hating, just putting it out there.

So, the version of Patrick I have installed in Sierra, and although after more
than 24 hours has not yet started staking everything is fine, Even though it
does not work with maverick.

The official Qt-OSX-v1000 version instead works perfectly on maverick
(I have not tried other systems at the moment) and the staking process has
not started either. Any help? Wink

staking relies on having sufficient coin weight, which is a combination of input size and age.

you might have 50,000 coins,
one deposit (or input) of 50,000 will stake quickly but if they're seperated into deposits (or inputs) of 1 coin each, they will not stake for a long time.

if you're not staking there are two obvious answers,
1. your coins do not have sufficient weight yet, you'll just need to keep waiting.
2. your wallet does not have staking turned on, have you locked your wallet ?

go into yr debug window/console (right click on Tor wallet icon in dock)
and type
Code:
getstakinginfo

{
"enabled" : true,
"staking" : false,
"errors" : "",
"currentblocksize" : 0,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"pooledtx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 0.00024414,
"search-interval" : 0,
"weight" : 0,
"netstakeweight" : 3877,
"expectedtime" : -1
}

if your wallet is capable of staking it will have true for both values at the top.
"enabled" means staking is turned on,
"staking" means the wallet is actually attempting to stake, I have no coins capable of staking so mine says false.

Hey @Bumba, is there probably any problem with the TorCoin-Qt wallet?
Sincerely I simply do trading in general and do business online, so I am
not practical with this of mine coins with programs like TorCoin-Qt.

I understand that running BitCoin-Qt is totally important to the network
and I want to contribute to this while I earn some TorCoins but I think
there are some malfunctions of the program in general so it does not allow
staking as it should be.

Taking a look around Torcoin-Qt I realize that these could be some of the
reasons why it is not yet possible to me start staking after more than 36 hours:

  • The network traffic may be slow, at the moment this is working with
    some In: movements of 17MB and about 6MB Out movements, I do not
    know if it is good and what this is related to, but I believe this is slow.
  • In the debug window I notice that there are lots of messages like these:

    -trying connection 91.14.3.11:23669 lastseen=90.0hrs connection timeout

    -trying connection 179.55.236.204:23669 lastseen=3.1hrs
    CTxMemPool::accept() : accepted 5e01f1091f (poolsz 1)
    connection timeout
    connect() failed after select(): Connection refused

    -Flushing wallet.dat
    Flushed wallet.dat 276ms
    connection timeout

    -Flushed 585 addresses to peers.dat  2ms
    trying connection 100.33.157.128:23669 lastseen=10.2hrs
    connection timeout

Tons of these ... almost all!!!  Angry Angry

There is something wrong here, do you guys think you know a solution? I think
this affair negatively affects the network and that I will not be able to mine a coin ever...

Any help please??

You're wrong, it does provide a service, a real value. Unlike most other altcoins this one actually has actual value. It's the first crypto routed through the tor network. If it gets picked up for that reason alone - which it very well could - it will be huge.

2 questions.

1. Do you need to configure anything to send coins via TOR, if so what?

2. How can 5 address hold the 90% of circulating coins?

1. Good question. I'm sure the OP or one of the devs he hired after the last one dipped out will be glad to provide that answer.

2. Because OP owns about 1.1 million+ from the 10% premine and has them split between the 5 wallets. The rest of the circulating supply are from the miners getting their measly 1 TOR per block reward.
