Is this a serious project? Why only new users post on this topic? Do not users have an avatar?
Why do users need an avatar for project to have validity? What a strange thing to say. Your on-line platform is too small, so it is very inconvenient
You mean the website? The community is creating a new one from scratch, and we have had some amazing designs so far in the Slack. I'll leave some feedback from a graphic designer's point of view (although I mostly do print design rather than web design) 1. The logo is way better than the old one, it actually is one of my favorite altcoin logo's. 2. The website needs some cool tech animations, since the tech XBY uses is unique, I think the website should reflect this with a more "future-ish" look (see IOTA's website for example). 3. Maybe some parallax scrolling would be nice. 4. Maybe hire a very good freelance web/UI/UX designer or a design studio? I hold some XBY because I believe in the future of this coin, but in order to attract big investors and shake off any doubts that it's a scam you guys need a great website that reflects the technology used. Tech and marketing alone are not enough if you want to go to the moon The community is making a brand new website, and the designs so for have been amazing (we have a couple of professional designers in the Slack). We will be holding a vote on June 26th to decide the winning design.

Just found this coin and was looking at it a bit. Just wanted to point out this statement. The difference is that we know the tech is coming and the TECH is why we are here and the TECH is what will make many people wish they stayed. Patience please!
This coin kind of reminds me of a coin I was in a couple years back called Qora. It was some smart dude that wrote all the code from scratch by himself, similar to this coin. The tech was amazing and I really believed in the coin, but it went no where because there was no emphasis on marketing. Everyone just sat there waiting to get rich. Tech alone is simply not enough. Without a supportive community and marketing this coin will be done. Anyway, just a thought Good luck

It is one of the key aspects of the coin model, as shown by our extremely enthusiastic and active Slack with almost 1000 members, and our website design contest where our extremely talented members have the opportunity to create the future of a crucial aspect of our brand. Marketing is mostly low key for now as we are still building the foundations, however we have plans in place for when the technology is nearing completion and put in to place. Thank you for your input. Well done Van, looks great.

Super, this video gives proof of the progress of XBY development. Thank you XBY !! I will buy enough and wait quietly for a future masternode XBY!

Wow, there you go people who have said there is no proof of any development or progress in terms of technology: that right there alone is proof of the (hard) work being done. Not that I needed that confirmation but still, it's good to see the proof knowing it will shut people down. Impressive and good for the project.

The Dev's gotta put there head down and get the Nodes live. Hopefully the community which has aton of talent can take the website to the next level. In time this will be a great investment and potentially a top 10 coin...sometimes the best things take a little time. Patience.

I know, right? The funny thing is that people are impatient with a project that is just TWO MONTHS OLD. That's crazy when you are thinking of it, a two month old project already on this many pages, already on this price and this amount of followers.

how much is needed for a masternode ?
500k How much is the income of a masternode? Well theres planned to be 512 elite nodes. At current usage, (it was 1k blocks per day average last month or so I cba to recount to average) So lets average it at 1.5k blocks created over the blockchain at todays averages, lets keep conservative and say 2 transaction charges per block. Thats 3000 transactions per day being charged 100XBY Thats 300k XBY in total for the node network per day 300,000 / 512 = 585.9 ea 586XBY = $14.50 per day give or take. Remember thats 24/7 not work days = $450 monthly When the network picks up, the volumes will also be higher thus more transactions. Edit: Im not 100% on what the consensus came to, but i think there was an agreement for 64% of the fees to be given back from the network to the dev fund for a few month or so when the nodes go live maybe someone else can clarify this for us!

Well theres planned to be 512 elite nodes.
Does this mean nobody else can have a node when 512 is reached? How many exist now? Thank you very much for your explanation, I am really interested to get enough XBY for a node!

Theres currently 429 nodes according to the static list http://borzalom.hu/static-list.htmlThere was talk about doing a sort of "raffle" to decide who gets the remaining nodes, it was mentioned about them being more expensive than the initial 500k because the original people placed more faith in the project in the early days and people joining now know more than the original node buyers did. After this, there has been talk of having tier 2 nodes, these would undoubtedly be cheaper nodes, however they would have less consensus power, and reduced fee payment percentages.

Nodes will be sellable eventually on the new core wallet. So any of the 512 owners could put their node up for sale (probably for a bit more than market price), and anyone with the required XBY can purchase whatever is available.

Right? That is really bad I have to say! Congratulation to everybody who are invested from the beginning, but this guys still have a big benefit only because of the big price increase! I am always very careful with projects who benefits the first investors in such a way. I am sorry, but this sounds very dubious for me and back off people like me who would like to invest a lot of money! Why not having much more nodes, if the price increases there will be enough money for everybody who has a node! I am also invested in NEM and everybody can have a node, there is no limitation. Have much more nodes is also better for a stable network, I really don't understand the sense of this plan except of making rich people richer!
